so lets test that

 

I want to make a stealthy type guy so i do some dfb runs just testing what i like the feel of or just check in abilities or i do some endgame research and ask people in the know if it fits the playstyle or shines within that class for instance i want to utterly blap people from stealth and i like katana.

ok those might all be taken how many more synonyms can i get out of these words probably 5 more for each all depends on how long i look into it.

 

then the combinations start

 

Ghostblade Ghostrend Nightreap Darkreap lurkblade Darkmaul Ghostreaper....etc the more synonyms you can find for a Word in keeping with your class the more you can combine them and get them shortened or find a ring to them and in the process of creating a long list of names to slam into the generator you might find that the name makes you think about a potential costume idea.

So lets say you like the sound of Darkblade now you can explore a whole bunch of demonic or horror based ideas

Alternatively lets say you have a costume idea but just need a name use synonyms from what the costume is so for instance my main is Rumblebee if you look SUPER CLOSELY and use 200IQ you can see i simply threw a synonym for combat/fighting as an alternative to Bumble...take aspects of the costume and find words based around that you can put into combo's

One of my characters is, conceptually, a little girl in a suit of power armor.  (Her bio: "An eleven-year-old girl in power armor, out fighting badguys.  What could possibly go wrong?" :D hehehe.)  For a while I despaired of securing a good name, until I hit on the idea of "this is kind of an anime-ish concept, so, what about using Japanese?"

 

And so, Sokohime was born.  The name translates as "Armor(ed) Princess".  :)
