We couldn't find a tank for an ITF today, so ended up picking up a StJ/Inv Stalker with Provoke.  He kicked serious butt!  All hail the Stalker AT!

Only problem is, if a scrapper tanking is called Scranking, then a stalker tanking has to be called Stanking D:

Was this the ITF with 3 blasters, 3 scrappers, and 2 stalkers?  Was quite smooth all things considered.

Not sure of the team composition.  I believe the Stalker's name was Suckerpuncher.  I saw him using a taunt as a Stalker, which was new for me.

Stalkers cap out the same as scraps for resist @ 75% but innately have more defense, unsuprisingly we can be extremely hard for most PVE Mobs to take out, especially @ 50 and decked out to the nines.

Oh yeah, I've teamed with him a lot.  He's a good player and Yeah Stalkers can make amazing Tanks surprisingly.  My Nin/Nin ended up tanking a lot for some reason.

Played cautiously, you can tank almost anything.

 

I once tanked Tower-buffed Lord Recluse on a Fire/Fire/Pyre blaster...

I stank all the time (Rad/SD), but the team needs to beware because Stalkers don't hold aggro like Tanks and Brutes.
