We were doing the Task Force Who Will Die #1.

 

In it, at one point the Lost are trying to steal Synapses' powers, and you stop them. They're using a giant oblisk in a sea of fire. It all went well until...

 

Later I noticed I was running fast. Like really fast. I have a Temporary Power called Synaptic Resistance that isn't going away. I've done at least three missions and its been over an hour.

 

The buff gives +100% endurance, +15% defenses all positions, immobilize immunity, and +80MPH run speed.

 

I can barely control my character now, he has a weird blue speedster outline, and it makes my earth wizard both impossible to control and look weird. What is going on here? Did I somehow bug out a step of the TF? We did finish it.

 

How can I get rid of this? Is there any way in CoH to drop buffs? It is really annoying and jarring.

Open your Powers tab, above the power tray.

 

Right-click on the Autopower, and select DELETE.

 

Hopefully that fixes things.  :)

It messed around with the RP of my character so it had to go obviously. Why would people be so excited about a little endurance anyway?

Well due to the way recovery works +100 endurance basically doubles your recovery (after applying recovery bonuses such as stamina). So you'll basically never run dry of endurance.

 

+15% defense to everything is also something to be excited about.
