Can we advertise CoH now?

Like, could some trustworthy and reliable in the community gather donations and start running CoH ads on gaming websites and such?

 

Is the CoH team doing any advertising?

I don't think it'll be a problem to advertise if you want. Most of the community here actually chips in to help out with the donations every month to make sure that the service stay live. I'm sure that there's a lot of fans that don't even know that the game is back and legally run here. So if you want to boost the awareness of that, that would be great?

I'm sure it would depend upon what NC and the development team hit upon as an agreement.  Last I understood, not all points of it were public.

Word of mouth, influencer vid etc are likely ok(as that's how it was before too).

 

What you propose with paying for advertising on sites etc isn't likely to fly because that's getting a bit more commercial and this isnt meant to be so and could potentially be incongruent to the licensure from ncsoft.
