WarHorseman Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I have been having alot of delays and lost Map Server connection and regain them after I am dead of course. I had my computer checked and updated but still issue is there. Any suggestions?
WanderingAries Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Map Server (when client side) is more often network based than anything else, so I'd take a look at how you're setup first. 1 OG Server: Pinnacle <||> Current Primary Server: Torchbearer || Also found on the others if desired <||> Generally Inactive Installing CoX: Windows || MacOS || MacOS for M1 <||> Migrating Data from an Older Installation Clubs: Mid's Hero Designer || PC Builders || HC Wiki || Jerk Hackers Old Forums <||> Titan Network <||> Heroica! Triumphant Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Can verify. I used to have 1000 mbps internet an and had zero problems with is, whatsoever. Due to financial reasons, I had to drastically scale back to 20mpbs internet (which functions more like 15 mbps, most of the time, alas). I get lag, rubberbanding, and semi-frequent mapserves. So, there's at least a good chance that it's on your end. It's a testament to how much I love this game, that I keep playing anyway. 😝
shortguy on indom Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Try this: GRC's | DNS Nameserver Performance Benchmark It helps you choose the fastest name server with low packet loss. Not always a cure, but maybe can help. PvP Capture the Flag! Bring some fun into it....

All the other servers virtually the same server at the same location. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
