I got on the Brainstorm to test some things, and one of the things I wanted to test was exemplaring, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it without another player.  Is it at all possible to add something to allow players to self-exemplar?  I don't want to bother other people who are engrossed in their own testing.

Your boos mean nothing; I've seen what makes you cheer.

While it doesn't let you do other arcs, if you just want to run around a zone at a certain level, you can find a Ouroboros arc that caps you at the appropriate level and then run around while in the arc group.

No, there is no way to self-exemplar. If you want to be lower level than your character currently is, there are 3 ways to do so. The first is find a lower level character and join him/her/them/it as a team member so you fight at his/her/their/its level. The second is to  start/join a TF/SF. That will level you down to the max level of the TF/SF. The third is to start a mission through Ouroboros (or your base if it has a Pillar of Fire and Ice). Though the Ouroboros option is basically just a TF/SF version of existing story arcs so you can level down to do them.

The game code does not let players level down any other way. (That is why the TFs/SFs and Ouroboros work the way they do, because it was the only way the Live devs could enable exemplaring down without a lower level character to exemplar to.)

Good grief I'm stupid.  THANK YOU.  That is exactly what I wanted.
