Sanuske4 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Hey there! Maybe this has been solved elsewhere in the forums but the WST targets are confusing me. Every time I completed a weekly SF and then move onto the next that one does not give me the bonus merits. - Is this one of three SFs per week and you only get the bonus for one? If so, why is that not stated in the WST description? - Is there some requirement I am missing (I am mostly soloing them)? If so, why is that not stated in the WST description? Maybe I am doing something else wrong but any help would be greatly appreciated.

So if you run a second, third, or more with the same toon, you do not get the bonus double merits for those runs - this includes running Justine Augustine and then running an ITF and then an Op Renault (this week) - even though they are different TFs, they are all WSTs and you only get the double merits for 1 of them and not the other two. However, you do get credit for badges for "helping" others complete the WST while not getting those rewards. 🙂 Edited July 16 by Frozen Burn 1 1

It has a really low merit reward (7), and still locks us out of the double reward of the other WSTs (it's essentially a trap). Adding some other reward to it (triple merits, extra Prismatics, an extra crystal titan enhancement, or whatever) would help it be a more reasonable choice to run for the weekly bonus.

The Eden Trial needs fixed so that it does reward more than the 7 merits. It was nerfed down to 7 when people found the holes in the walls to TP through and they were doing speed runs. This has been fixed and other things with the trial boosted as well - so the merit rewards should be upped (although, it would still be low considering). In addition, there should be more challenge made to the trial overall to make it reward yet even higher rewards, imo. I'm not on board with your proposal as I don't think a single TF/SF/Trial should be singled out to give extra rewards - but rather instead, fix the trial so that it's naturally worth more. I love the Eden Trial and it just needs some love from the Devs too. 🙂 1 1

I would also be OK with simply removing it from the WST rotation, but that removes some of the incentive to run it at all. Mostly, I just want it to not be a trap, where the WST bonus is only 7 merits instead of the usual 20-40. (Also, so I'm being clear - the bonus rewards/removal from rotation would simply be a temporary solution until something more substantial can be done, like a revamp.)

It's a bit of a corner case, but I got bit by it a few months back, assuming that I'd get a Notice for the first time I ran a WST as a 50, where instead I was running a WST a second time that week, and the code never got to the 'award a Notice' check.
