The Auction House took more money than it should and didn't even list the item

I was going to list the item for 16,000,000. The pop up message says the fee is 800,800, which is correct. But when I clicked the button to agree, the AH charged me 8,000,000, which is 10 times as much, and didn't list the item either. So the AH took my 8 million for nothing. 

 

And it seems this isn't even a new bug.

There's a bug which causes stored items, like those stacks of salvage, to list instead of the item you click.

 

 

Based on the fee charged, that's likely what happened.  Check the Selling tab.

I just checked and indeed a stack of salvage got listed instead. So, this bug has been around for at least a year and it's not being fixed.

 

Can a GM refund me the 8 million at least? It was taken from me due to this bug, and no fault of mine.

You can ask but it's doubtful.

I posted a few EoE for 30 million each with this bug.  They still havent sold.
