ZacKing Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Pie in the sky idea - I'd love to see more team-oriented Trial/TF/SF content that's geared toward and balanced for small teams. Don't get me wrong, stuff like hard mode TFs and the Labrynth are fun, but if I'm being honest I much prefer content that's made for smaller groups and not full leagues. Trials like the Summer Blockbuster and Dr. Kane's House of Horrors are great and are designed for a max of 4 players. I can play these with the wife and kids without needing to recruit anyone else. Key points of interest to me are that I like smaller, casual groups and there's way less VFX spam on a small team than there is on a full league. Yeah, I know about the noparticles thing. I know the HC folk love teaming and making team content, but it would be nice to see some content that's made for smaller groups. Not everything needs to be for a full league. 3
Razor Cure Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I like this idea. Even stuff geared (and capped) at 2-3. I mostly play with one friend from Live, and we basically duo everything. It could be like the Clone missions in Talos (agent whathisname), where in you are doing some part of a broader mission, and your clone is doing the other. COme to think..that might work better in groups of 4, so you could have 2 mini teams of 2, each worker together to do stuff.
biostem Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Conversely, they'd have to do something to prevent full teams from roflstomping them - how do you make the rewards attractive enough for small teams to run the content, but not for full teams to grind them endlessly? Could the game dynamically adjust the content AND rewards? Maybe it could cap it at 4-5 players?

Both require 4 characters to do. Both as minimum and maximum. 1
Razor Cure Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Yeah that's how I read it too..capped at lower team sizes. Good for duos, or as OP said, family teams.
