Feature request: Stop buffs breaking poses

I'd love to have buffs not break my pose. I sit on the rock and wait for Hami and some twit just has to buff me over and over because sitting on the rock is just so super dangerous. I get really tired of typing ;lotus. So please make it so that buffs don't break poses. It'd be nice if buffs would change to my color scheme. I have dark blue as the dominant color, and this idiot's buffs are lime green.

You are not reporting a bug. This should be posted on the Suggestions and Feedback forum.

 

(Edit: You can also turn off the buffs applied to you. It's been a while, but I believe you right click the buff icon and select cancel. While that won't stop the buff from disrupting emotes, it will take them away.)

 

(Edit again: You can also ask the buffing player to stop buffing you if it is a ST buff. And they are supposed to stop.)

Short term fix - move away from the buff spammers.

Personally, I find auto-fire buff spammers annoying.

Right-Click>Cancel works on some but not all unfortunately.

 

@Mulligan Some poses don't break. Figuring out which don't break when buffed is one way to wait for Hami. ( others spend that time defeating GMs trying to spawn Hami. 😛 )

I suspect they are referring to the time they are waiting for the league to be formed. If you don't show up 20-30 min early the zone will fill so you have lots of folks gathered waiting until X:30 for the invites to go out. The leaders explicitly state the nobody should be hunting monsters during this time. (This is on excelsior, not sure where OP plays but I'm assuming it similar on other shards.)

 

OP I feel your pain, many a time I've been absolutely crushing an /e popdance when my erotic ambulation is cut short by an unneeded buff. I'm certain no malice was intended so I just restart it and go back to makin em sweat with my sweet sweet moves!

In addition to not breaking poses, I'd personally love to see an option to decline all outside buffs from other players.  VFX spam in general was already way out of hand when the game was live and there's no end in sight to it here.  VFX spam is a real deterrent in joining larger teams and leagues and I know I'm not the only one.  Yeah yeah, I know about the noparticles thing.
