I don't know how possible it is, but is it possible to put Symbols on the back of jackets, but I think it would be cool? I couldn't find another thread about it.

Also, because I've been here a bit, I know Symbols is under the Chest Detail menu, but there's a beret under half helmets, sometimes a label is just a label. I don't think it will hurt anything's credibility to make that possible.

Well, we *have* back details as far as backpacks and wings. Something exists back there as an anchor point so...

"As an anchor point" won't work. Not unless you want your jacket image free floating behind you. (We can see through the seams in the floor, we'll be able to see the jacket image behind the jacket.) Given how the game seems to work, symbols on the back of jackets will either need to be a separate jacket that has the preset symbol that players select, or it will need to be a texture map like how the tops with skin works.

However, if we look at the *front* chest details, they have both flat on texture symbols/letters/etc as well as "items" like bandoliers and chestpieces (such as the mecha chest bits, not just cuirass or corset type pieces.)

Unless the back details are handled entirely differently... Though it wouldn't help with jackets, perhaps.

Good point. I retract my statement.

Plus, the symbols work on the front of the jackets, so the technology to put them on the back, in theory, exists. But I don't understand how any of this works, so I may be wrong.
