Morality mission not rewarding alignment merit

Hello!

 

I just now completed my second hero morality mission, but I got 50 reward merits (the first reward) instead of a hero merit (the second and onward reward).

 

Just though I would see if there is an issue, or if I must be level 50 before I can earn alignment merits as I couldn't find anything specifying a level restriction on alignment merits online.

Your first morality mission as Hero or Villain only gives those 50.  It's doing a Morality having already confirmed yourself as a Hero or Villain that gets you an Alignment Merit.  However, the Merit Vendors will trade 50:1 reward to alignment (or vice-versa) freely.

Yeah, I got the 50 rewards as expected for the first hero alignment to confirm me.

 

However, I still got 50 reward merits the second time I confirmed.

 

I realize that the reward merits will do the trade, but you also have to pay 20 million inf per alignment merit, and the economy is still too young to support that right now.

I actually received only 40 Reward merits the first time that I did a Morality Mission.

I just did reaffirm my morality for the second time and got 40 Reward Merits again, no Alignment Merit.

 

EDIT: And  I see in the patch notes that this seems to be WAI, no more alignment merits
