5 Tally Reward Merit and Empyrean Merit Currency

Usually when you want to transfer large amounts of Reward or Empyrean merits from one alt to another, you use the 50 count currency, that is Hero or Transcendent to do this, the problem is from a couple to 50 is a long way.

 

It would be nice to have smaller denominations, think of the dollar it breaks down to pennies (reward/emps), but then you have nickels (5 count), dimes (10 count) and quarters (25 count) which have been set up over time for practical reasons. So it would make sense to do something similar with reward and emps merits, but for now I would settle with the 5 count currency.

 

Any thoughts?

Well, it doesn't matter to me - but my first thought is - 50 reward merits is a blink to get. They drop mostly without even trying. Emp merits also drop pretty quickly. What I want is not nickels, quarters and dimes, but 5 bucks and 10 bucks. 

Like 5 t-merits or hero merits in one email, instead of just one. But even if they were to agree with your suggestion - where is the line drawn? 5 emps, 10 emps, 15 emps and 20 emps, to coincide with the vet level rewards every 3 levels? 

I think a 10 emp token would be a huge time saver for a number of players.

How about we just have special salvage be accessible across characters on the same account. I'm sure that's impossible, but I can dream.

This is both ideal and also very likely accurate. 

 

Though I wonder... is Vault storage account wide or is it per character?  If it's account wide, perhaps it could be put to use for account bound salvage?

Vault Storage is per-character.  I used it pre-Shutdown to stockpile Rare Salvage as I was buying and selling a lot of Rare Salvage to make Influence back then.

If you're looking at vault storage, then just make a personal SG, /altinvite your characters in, throw in as many storage racks as you want, and there you go, account-wide storage.
