Earned 'The Beast Within' for defeating a Council Warwolf

This was the 'Urgent' timed Mission from Laurie Pennington: 'Stop Archon Morena & His Crew' in which you rescue a congressman and his 6 staffers from Council on an Outdoor map:

 

 

Oddly, after defeating a transformed War Wolf, I earned 'The Beast Within' badge. My understanding was (and the badge text indicates) that this was ONLY for 5th Column Warwolves and not transformed Warwolves.

 

Also note that I already have the 'The Silver Bullet' badge as part of my Atlas Medallion there.

 

This is an old Issue-1 era mission, so maybe its Warwolves are still somehow 5th Columnists?

Either way, I get to punch fascists, so that's good enough for me!

Since Silver Bullet counted 5th Column Warwolves, we made the transformed badge count either Council or 5th Column, the badges being linked is a nod to the link between the two groups.

I want to say that The Slayer badge also doesn't differentiate between Column and Council vampyres (vampyri?), but I've never thought to specifically check and 5th Column vampyres (vampyii?) aren't nearly as common as Council vampyres (vampyriii?).

 

(side note, my spell check really doesn't like the word 'vampyre' ('vampyriiii'?) but while it's actually hard to see if I've spelled it vampyre (vampyriiiii?) I'm too lazy to right-click and add it to the dictionary.)

I typically earn both the 5th Column defeat badges in missions or street-sweeping in Founders, so I've just straight up never thought to look at the counts while working there.
