Winter Forest NPC's AWOL?

Just saw this morning that the Winter Forest is not presently linked to TUNNEL portals and the NPC's (trainer, costumer, store, Null) are not present, despite the Winter Event being in effect. Was this something that kicks in later or did they just get benched this year? It's a shame, I love seeing that zone come to life.

They got missed when the entire event was rewritten for this year. Already fixed on Brainstorm. No ETA on live patch.
