STJ/SR combos?

hey, i made a batman themed hero and chose a Street Justice / Super Reflexes combo. unfortunately i just got the game and have no idea what im doing.

 

so i was wondering what is the single target combo? whats the AoE combo? and what Super Reflexes stuff should i skip?

 

i know its a lot, but im saving up my free respec for when i hit 30 in a few days and i would like to start wooping ass. thanks in advance

so what im getting is get every ability in Street Justice and push all the buttons. haha. thanks for the advice ill def try this when i respec.

is there a reason for the complicated combo? does it maximize combo points or just downtime or what?

Haha! Pretty much everything except for HB and Placate. During live, awesome player named Auroxis came up with StJ's highest dps attack chain, AS-CU-SB-AS-SC-SB-repeat. DPS tester, Kezeal, used that chain when calculating StJ's dps potential.

When I tried the chain, the Stalker's Guile proc wasn't consistently activating at the point it was supposed to (Before CU). Was able to get it to work as intended by adding IS into the chain. My Canada Day pylon kill in 96s/527dps:

 

 

SC and CU are always at combo 3 (AS builds 2 combo points). AF is usually at 2-3 stacks for a 66-99% chance to crit. I do have a nagging feeling that switching to HB and using the chain [bU]-AS-CU-HB-SB-[bU]-AS-SC-HB-SB-repeat would result with AS critting more often.

but........ now i have to figure out how to get cooldown timers for my powers, where is that option?

 

also do you have a build, not sure which io's to start crafting when the time comes

Good concept and the Pylon time looks good.  I thought I would put a build together for this concept.

 

Thoughts on the build:

Soft-caps Melee, Range, and AOE

S/L resist at 46%

Hasten 4-5 seconds from permanent

I chose the weapons pool due to concept

Build would be expensive due to purples, ATOs, and WTOs

I don't share my builds anymore but if you pay attention to the Youtube video, you could probably figure out 90% of the build from it alone.

 

I am level 42 now and had some endurance issues.  As I have been playing I was thinking that I need to fix endurance and I was also thinking that the attacks in the Weapons pool were unlikely to be used very often, so they were not likely valuable.  I decided to look at your video again and adjust my build accordingly.

 

Thoughts on the build (stats based on Mid's Reborn v2.53):

Incarnate levels of defense: Melee (61.8%), Range (58.7%), and AOE (59.3%)

S/L resist at 46.7%

Hasten 134 seconds without Ageless, but 111 with Ageless

I removed the weapons pool and went with Body due to the End issues

Build less expensive than previous build as there are no purples

In the previous build I had SS, but rarely used it, so got rid of it.  Now I use Ninja Run and Jet Packs as my travel powers.

I have Assault as my last power pick, but I may choose Placate or Fly.  I have had one instance while leveling where Placate would have been useful, so not sure that will be my pick.  I really like Fly, but it seems like a luxury when Jet Packs are $5000 influence.  Assault will provide more value over time, but not sure how the End issues will be with another toggle.

 

The damage on this build is incredible and I'm not even following the attack chain recommended by StrikerFox below:

 

[bU]-AS-CU-SB-[bU]-AS-SC-SB-IS-repeat for ST, and [bU]-AS-SS-SB-IS-SC-repeat for AoE.

 

I have just been attacking randomly since I was used to hitting powers as they became available when leveling.  Now that I have all primary and secondary powers I will look to adjust the attack chain.  I have leveled by playing as follows:

Ageless is ok but everything it provides can be built for. I recommend going Rebirth Radial. It's a good panic button for when stuff goes wrong. The only other alternative for an SR heal is the Medicine pool which will require 2-3 power picks. But if you stick with Ageless, you could drop Body Mastery since the recovery portion would be enough to sustain your endurance.

 

It's cool that you isoftcap your build at +59%, but consider aiming for just the +45% softcap. Carrying several small purple inspira for incarnate content would free up IO slotting to build for damage, recharge, end recovery etc.

 

When that video was created, I had the wrong Numina IO slotted, and usually run with Musculature Radial (Musc Core in the vid). Endurance isn't a problem during normal gameplay when 1-2 shotting enemies, as end has a chance to replenish when moving from target to target. Normal recovery is 4.0 e/s and consumption at 2.0 e/s (Sprint and Ninja Run are always on).

 

Regardless your build is strong and will serve you very well.
