Were you talking about a non-amazon link, like to the publisher's site then?

 

I'm going to order The Interminables as a present to myself

You can get them from Amazon too, yeah, but we like to point out that you don't have to give Bezos a cut, hence my linking to the publisher site 🙂

 

Also I drew some more stuff - my Earth/Time controller Saurus, and yet another of Tinhead's character (and second protagonist in The Interminables) The Devil's Doctor, partway between his two forms:

oh look i did another personal project (that has only been sitting unfinished since Actually Halloween)

 

 

(tinhead's character Irons - inorganic ferrous constitution is a good mutation to have when you're from Croatoa, even though the initial transformation to an inorganic, ferrous constitution damn near killed him)

Also if heroing doesn't pay well enough he could always

become a pumpkin spice latte vendor. Seriously, people love that stuff.

 

Nice job on the painting as well.

Good use of composition, dynamic poses and forced perspective.

Looks fantastic! 🙂 I love that you're able to create these characters in CoH as well! Makes me wish I had any artistic skill in order to draw up some characters I have that I intend to(one day in the future lol) portray in a screenwrite

@Seed22 Well good news on that front is artists like Flash take commissions

so if you don't posses the artistic skill yourself you just hire someone who has it.

Closer to "Discount Colossus" if we're making Marvel comparisons, but hey, he IS named Irons... 🙂 also thanks for the plug further down the thread!

 

@Seed22 - The characters actually originated in CoH, more or less - though Istvan's costumes do have to be approximated to some degree (no legit WWI uniform and no skeletal feathered wings). Saurus, however, has been a CoH character from the start and the drawing is more 'yeah this is what she SHOULD look like if I could make the proportions correct'.

I so rarely get anything done just for my own pleasure but here's a sketch (that i wish didn't take me two hours) of the Devil's Doctor tending to the Hour Thief's PTSD because sometimes this game makes you go on a sinking ship or take a submarine ride (I'm looking at you, Roy Cooling)

(This is the Not City Of Heroes version of him; in the gameverse he was in the Hero Brigade, not the Navy, and wouldn't be conforming to these uniform regulations - but I already painted that one!)
