Min/Max'ing AR/Dev

I have 7 lvl50 Heross but this is the only one I want to truly min/max.

 

When creating this creating I did a lot of research but compared to many other power sets there really is not much to go on. Devices has also been changed since most of the info for it has been published. So taking all that into account I have created the following:

 

NOTE: The powers are in the correct levels but the slotting is not.

I am very happy with this but I am certain it can be better. My question to you all is what slotting, powers and enhancements can be used/changed to max out the potential for this build. I have yet to decide on a Lore pet. I am pleased with my damage output so I was thinking of a support pet of some kind. Thoughts?

I reread my post and realized I missed a few items. For example, what am I trying to min/max!

 

The build is based on the idea of having my two best attacks available as often as possible. That means full auto for the AOE and Sniper for the single target. It seems that at some point there are diminishing returns as it gets harder to reduce the recharge time.

 

The next item I went for was ranged defense. This item is soft capped. The other two positional defenses (Melee & AOE) are reasonable I suppose. At least I do not feel restrained by them.

 

After that I simply went for any specialty IOs. I suppose it is here that I seek advice. For example, I have Super Speed, Field Operative (with a stealth component) and the Stealth IO. I suspect the IO is wasted. Regarding the health IOs, again I wonder if the selected IOs are in fact helping or simply wasted. Endurance has never been an issue since level 20. Are the KB/KD IOs properly selected and placed?

 

So I suppose its the Uniques any oddities that I do not understand that could be improved. It is here I hope for some assistance.

really tough to help you there man..... it's a thin layer of ice what separate trying to be helpful to appear ducey in point you some decision you may have taken for your own personal playstile. 

 

With that in mind, and trying to limit as much as possible the answer to the precise stuff you asked :

sort of correct, the recharge is based on the base value of the skill reduced by the total of your recharge and skill recharge slots, usually you just aim to reach a perma hasten and check the cd for stuff you really want to improve (by that example your panacea should go in health, being health regen based off your max hp and not really a good way to increase survivability (aside for /mental that boost it to 1700% in farming), this way you should gain 7.5 recharge global from another luck of the gamble in vengeance and you will be able to change some other slots

while i still see the resistance really low, till you dont feel restrained it's all good

while the stealth effect radius of a slot bonus stack with super speed stealth effect radius and with a single toggle primary stealth power, the benefit to go from 70 to 100 stealth radius is really not that much needed, totally your choise but not a waste by itself.

gave you an answer to that before, to go more in deep what you gain is 15% regen out of currently 500 (again not worth it) on a non hp build blaster, if you wanna use the slots in health/field operative for healing based ios, place panacea / miracle proc in either of those for the stamina regen, another really good proc is actually the one from preventive medicine absorb proc (lifesaver on a blaster)

First off, thank you for the feedback! When it comes to IO sets I am really open to any suggestions, ideas and opinions. I am not experienced with these and welcome any input.

 

Regarding the health suggestions, I will implement those. I was really uncertain how to set those up and the additional LotG recharge is welcome.

 

The stealth info is good. The explanation really helped.

I just wanted to take a moment and link this thread:

 

 

It is a Defender thread but discusses procs and various power sets including Traps. There is a lot of cross over between Devices and Traps to the point that I think the link is worth reading and the information worth considering when using Devices.
