The single target damage is awesome and pretty quick with more than enough global recharge to cover the lack in enhancements. In addition to the procs in single targets, I've got Distortion Field and Cutting Beam also slotted with them to add more AOE on top of Soul Drain and Overcharge. Overall there's a lot of recharge, decent heals, some resistances, over softcap aoe/ranged and near melee, and a lot of buffs and debuffs including -regen. I'm always open to suggestions if there's anything I've missed. Darkir Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 (edited) There are two things going on in this build that obfuscate the actual defense numbers that you would get out of this build. The first is steatlh, it will not give 5.6% def in combat, about half of that in combat will be active, so 2.8% (the hero designer shows the out of combat value for some reason). The other thing to remember is that power boost also boosts your defensive toggles while it is active, so although you keep the full bonus from farsight, you lose all the bonuses to defensive toggles when it is down. This means that after your powerboost goes down, your defense is roughly going to be: melee 40.6%, range 46.2%, and aoe 42.5%. A gaussian proc in Aim will also serve you better than a single recharge IO. I would also use two cytos in farsight over membranes because its already perma without the extra recharge, might as well save some end (also +5 the LoTG to make up the defense difference powerboosted this is only a .2% difference). I would use +5s in hasten as well. Swap in a miracle recov IO in temporal selection for more end recov. Then take out a slot from super jumping leaving the knockback protection in place. Put the two slots in soul drain and 5 slot superior winters. All these changes will give you more endurance recov and your defenses when powerboost stops affecting your toggles and you are in combat will be: melee 45.4%, range 44.8%, AOE 42.3%. I think this is an overall improvement to the build. You could use +5s in maneuvers to make up the extra .2% range if you wanted. subbacultchas Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 (edited) Thanks for the advice, I will look into the changes suggested. I think most of those are very good suggestions. Most things here that are non-attuned are already +4s (including Temporal mending and all commons/HOs), pines just doesn't tend to reflect that. I'll get them up to +5 as well. On the defense obfuscation, unfortunately I'm painfully aware of it. I usually turn off power boost and stealth to get a base defense, then add half of stealth and a good estimate for powerboost. It's nowhere near perfect, but as you say those two things make the values there not really accuate. I'm hoping the defense is close enough, with the ~17 -tohit that it will keep me in the softcap zone against all but AVs and up. * This is misleading, the HOs are not "boosted" by enhancement boosters, but boosted to 50++ by combining HOs. I personally have it as: attacked, hit by foe, activate attack click and damaged. This suppresses the out-of-combat effects of most things like Stealth and Hide. 1 1 - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
