Rikti Zone Invasions

I am not sure if this is a bug report, or not, so here it goes.

 

I was always under the assumption that Rikti zone invasions are dependent on the specific side of the LGTF leader.  If a hero or vigilante leads the LGTF, when it concludes a random blue side zone is invaded by Rikti.  If a villain or rogue leads the LGTF, when it concludes a random red side zone is invaded by Rikti.

 

Today, I lead a LGTF on a vigilante toon, specifically to spawn a Rikti zone invasion as I wanted the event badges on that toon.  Except, when it was over, the Rikti invaded Nerva Archipelago.  I didn't even realize it until a few minutes later because I don't have villain side zone event messages set on a tab on that toon.

 

So, is the Rikti zone invasion event completely random and not dependent on the TF leader's side?
