My Rad/Fire Brute Fire Farming Build

Recommended Posts

I think it looked an awful lot mike my runs, only slightly faster because I don't use the phantasm gathering method. I am at about 3:53 to 4:02. Good job.

What are the map tweaks? It looked like more than 1 ill/guard

16 Patrols, and only 1 ally. The typical fire farm

Very nice. I like your use of mu lightning.

My only suggestion is to use a map where they don't have cremate or fire sword. That way you can turn off tough and fire shield and save some end and maybe two seconds of consume activation.

My build looks extraordinarily similar, only I don't use mu lightning or hasten, relying more on st to fill in the gaps and add 2-3 recharge bonus activations from force feedback +recharge from contaminated radiactive smash.

Impressive.  About the same as my best times but for me that is when the helper is right in the middle and with Lore pets dragging more mobs.

How do you set up the timers in your power tray slots?  That's pretty cool.

I don't even know how to set up the windows for your 4th and 5th trays.  Where can I look to find out how to do this?

Menu/options/Windows  Scroll down near the very bottom there is a section called Beta Features.  For additional trays look on the very top right of your main powerbars for a little + sign.  That will open up another tray.  You can right click on the empty tray and change how many rows there are.

Thank you HelenCarnate.  I will check it out tonight.  I'm actually pretty excited about something so simple :).

How do you not run out of end? Do you use that build going through, or just at top end?

Endurance was a huge problem without any tier 4 incarnates, I had to carefully watch my end at all times, use ageless and consume when I needed it the most. It was definitely worth the pain and suffering though 😉

Racist Dolphin, the 6th slot in Proton Sweep was empty when I loaded your build.  Is it a proc that goes in there?

RD you are correct, soon as I slotted my first cardiac. I was off to the races and converting all my blue inspirations. Great build, thanks to you all for advice and suggestions.

This is my current build for Rad Melee farmer. As a note in your build you have Ageless toggled on which skews your recharge number by +70%. The total value over the duration of Ageless is around 20% recharge. As a note, my build does not abuse the containment proc interaction as I expect that will be fixed at some point. Plenty of builds, macros and other goodies in the farming thread in my signature. I'm gonna try a run on your farm and see how it feels!

EDIT: I've been tricked, I've been backstabbed and I've been quite possibly bamboozled. I was promised naked men and only received mostly naked men. Totally ruined my night. A solid alternative run if you want some sweet sweet mancandy in your farming runs.

That said, it took me 3 runs to get one where the ally wasn't placed off in the very corner of the map. Went pretty well though.

This is part of the reason I always test in runs of all 5 mission though, it's easy to blow long cooldown incarnates and frontload your performance even though it's not sustainable at that rate.

@Racist Dolphin Would you mind if I link to your build post in my farm thread as an alternate build and run? Always good to see another Indomitable player around.
