Been looking for a Broadsword/Shield Defense Brute for a while now, wondering if you have something in there? Preferrably with some of the Leadership pool to be a sort of 'lead from the fore' concept, but if I remember right the combination of sets can be a bit end-heavy... Maybe something can be worked out with that, I'm not great on the theorycrafting of builds beyond 'I have a concept I want to try and make as viable as possible'.
Also, you got like a tip jar or something? The rate you put these builds out is like it's your job or something, seriously...

This might be something I'm missing here, but any reason in particular you're not using ATOs in this build? Form Empowerment seems like a decent buff to throw in somewhere to me, same with the global absorb chance.

So this is a very minor QOL thing, but I got to thinking when playing my Kheldian today. It'd be nice if certain self-targeting prestige powers were able to be used while shapeshifted. I'm talking stuff like Reveal, Inner Inspiration, etc. The utility powers, more or less, but some others could also work if there's call for it. Since Leo made T1/T2 powers useable in shapeshift forms, it certainly seems doable. Thoughts? Or other powers folks would want added in?

So this is my first attempt at a build, and likely sucks quite a bit. From what I recall, SS is quite the end-hog, and SD won't help in that matter, so I took Energy Mastery to try and overcome the worst of it. My main concern though is with the slotting and sets. I'm really at a loss when it comes to that sort of thing, so I hope some folks can give some feedback and advice on that. Or if need-be, throw this whole thing out and rebuild it to be far better. Oh, plus I'd like a bit of advice when it comes to the Incarnate abilities, something I never got to play with in live.

I've always been under the impression SR was too 'all or nothing'... Was that changed? Plus my idea was to offset downtime with WP's passives, being able to recover endurance between fights, etc.

The only permanently missable badges outside of Praetoria are the ones from Mayhem missions (red side), and Safeguard missions (blue side).
That's why I go Vigilante at level 5 by talking with Null the Gull in Pocket D, and then do both a Mayhem mission and a Safeguard mission at levels 9, 14, 19, 24, 29, 34, 39, 44, and 50.
This was changed, actually. If you get the Villain Disruptor/Hero Destroyer badge, a new contact is added that'll allow you to reo-do the Mayhem/Safeguard missions without the need to do paper missions.

Pure heroes and villains can't team together outside of cooperative zones like the Rikti War Zone, if I recall, but Vigilantes and Rogues can team with anyone, they just need to visit the zones of those they want to team with.

I'm currently running Savage Melee/Willpower, but I'm considering shifting to /Regen for theme reasons, just as soon as I can figure out how I want to properly slot it. Problem is I have no idea what I'm doing, and I think I recall some folks mentioning Regen being weak on Stalkers because of their low HP pool overall... So I'm really not sure.

Yeah, I tried to make a more Greek-looking satyr, but sadly the feet can't be colored separately from the body, and there's no skin tone options for tights.

So I'm crazy and working out multiple builds as I go. I make too many toons, but that's neither here nor there. In this case, I'm trying to modernize what I can remember of an old build, but I'm coming up blanks on certain parts of it. Generally speaking, I played him kind of Scranker-ish. He'd jump in on the biggest, baddest thing in the group and refuse to go down. If I could keep that feel going, it'd be swell. I've filled out all I can recall, but I'm sure it can be improved. Likely will drop Fly in favor of one of the prestige travel powers, if you need another power slot to work with. Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm still working on this zone myself, but with a name like 'Dug Too Deep', I'd have to guess it'd be in the absolute lowest part of the zone perhaps? Might need to bring a stalker here and poke around all the crevasses. Will let you know what I find.

IIRC, they're working on it. They had it up in beta, but it was causing shard crashes and they're working on identifying and resolving the issue. So watch this space!

Replying to this, since I did a bit more testing. The problem seems to only apply to the Shred power. The basic tooltip says the power grants +1 stack of Blood Frenzy (this is the current behaviour), however the full description claims the power consumes all stacks. I'm unsure which is the intended behaviour of the power. Furthermore, other powers in the set that consume stacks seem to work as intended, as their description and behaviour are identical.

There's a list of patch notes available here for all the i25 changes that people put together. I don't know if any other changes have been made since, though.

I only just noticed this, but the Savage Melee set doesn't seem to be correctly consuming stacks of Blood Frenzy as the text says they should. For example, Shred claims that it consumes all stacks to increase its damage, as well as gain a 20% chance of becoming instantly recharged per stack (Flipside being that you become Exhausted shortly after and can't gain more stacks of Blood Frenzy until it wears off). However, it neither consumes stacks nor seems to benefit from them. Not sure if this is the intended behaviour.
Edit because I forgot to clarify, I'm referring to Savage Melee on Stalkers. Have yet to test other AT sets.
Refining a Concept

So I've been doing a bit of digging around on a Mercs/Traps build for a MM (Yes, I know), and I'm wondering how well this setup would run. I'm honestly clueless about overall build design and mostly cannibalized bits and pieces here and there to build around a theme. In this case, a sort of military commander who supports the squad with gadgetry and serums more than with direct combat.
In terms of slots, I feel like I can likely do better... I'm pretty sure something's gone wrong somewhere. Mostly, I'm looking for something built around PvE with solo potential. Maybe not AVs and GMs level of solo-ability, mind you. Unless there's some trick I'm missing, but from what I've read of how Mercs run, I doubt it. Anyone willing to lend a hand in refining this a bit?
