appreciate the advice!  nobody in the league talked about this and we were encouraged to throw our lores out against swan, so they were all still active against tyrant.  i'll keep this in mind going forward

i'm sure this has been reported before since the response in chat was along the lines of "this bug is still around, huh" from the rest of the league, but twice now i've had a successful magisterium trial just refuse to complete, leaving us to wait until it fails or exit the league and reform.  any chance of this being fixed any time soon?  i did a search before creating this topic and found nothing, but that might be my inability to navigate a forum properly

what zone are you trying to do it in?  AFAIK unless you're in atlas park (where no doors will work) and the zone is level-appropriate, it should work for you

honestly, i've never been told that i've been doing a build wrong (or a "wrong" build), and i barely know what i'm doing on any melee AT.  so i surmise that people like the OP, who just play the game to have fun and only speak up when someone's playstyle affects the performance of the team negatively, are in the majority, and it's part of what i love about the cooperative aspect of the game; people in general are pretty cool about sub-optimal builds, in my experience

 

either way, i appreciate people who use the OP's mindset

i used banished pantheon on my dark/dark controller and it went well, but it's the only lore i've used so i can't say how it compares with others

and yeah, i have another character i've used set bonuses on, but none of the enhancements i used were unique, so this is new territory for me

so i got a recipe for Unbreakable Constraint as a random drop and noticed that it's a unique enhancement, while also noticing that it has set bonuses.  when it says "only one enhancement of this type may be slotted by a character", does it mean only this version (hold duration) or any Unbreakable Constraint enhancement?  and if it's the latter, then how does one acquire the set bonuses?

 

still fairly new to enhancement sets in general so any help would be appreciated!

oh, i've just never noticed that then, i guess since i've always only used the auction house with a 50 character and thus had enough influence not to notice lol

paid the fee for putting an enhancement in, decided to take it back out, then found i couldn't re-enter it because i never got the influence back from putting up the enhancement the first time.  did i do something wrong?  is this a bug?

This thing does not take much to keep alive and there are plenty with cash in hand to insure that, so these virtual worlds should be here a while.

 

TBH, my biggest interest now resides in seeing how the population fares when some of the supers games in progress make it to retail...

Will we gain or lose population? ... I can see arguments for both...

i can only speak for myself, but personally, nothing in retail in the years since CoH's shutdown has acted as a replacement for the game, and nothing upcoming or announced seems anything like it.  it's sort of its own niche and, like when other MMOs were released when it was live, i doubt its population will dwindle much once newer games come out

endlessly thankful that i get to play this game again.  i appreciate what you guys are doing more than words can express, as this game was a huge part of my teenage/adolescent years and being able to enjoy it now as an adult is a wonderful feeling
