Hello folk, Thought I would update as of 11-28-24 and say this is still working great! Thank you @Faultline
One thing you have to do is use Proton 7 100%- I tried with 9 and it would not properly load the installer- the script would get hung and not progress.
In order to fully repair my install I had to:
Perform the clean function as outlined in the github:
" bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FaultlineHC/LinuxHC/main/hc-install.sh) clean "
Remove the "/home/deck/Games/Homecoming/" directory completely
Perform fresh install using Proton 7
Worked like a champ! I am using Keyboard/Mouse in Desktop mode but works great even with graphic settings turned up.
