No Incarnates No Travel Powers Drafted teams Referee-inspected builds EVENT FORMAT 8 vs 8 Arena PvP Last Team Standing No Incarnates No Travel Powers Time limit: 30 minutes (Sudden Death) Competitive ruleset inspired by organized formats TEAM SIGN-UPS Full teams Partial teams Solo players may sign up as Free Agents Free Agent Placement Free Agents are matched to teams by the host To pre-connect with a partial team or free agent, both must answer a short set of placement questions Plans change. A request to find a new team or free agent is allowed up to 24 hours before the event. Notify both the host and the affected team/free agent of any roster changes. Requests for a different team or free agent within the 24-hour window are allowed. Be courteous and communicate changes clearly. SUBSTITUTES Substitutes are allowed Substitutes are roster-locked once the team roster is submitted Substitutes may not play for multiple teams Observing is allowed PRIZES First Place (per player): 100 Million Influence / Infamy Second Place (per player): 50 Million Influence / Infamy Third Place (per player): 3 random IOs (PvP IOs or Purple IOs) SIDE SELECTION & MAP A coin flip determines: Winner chooses Red or Blue side Losing team chooses the Arena map (from host-approved list) DRAFT SYSTEM Snake Draft Draft Sequence Permanent Bans → Timed Ban Phases → Snake Draft Picks PERMANENT BANS These do not count toward draft bans: Kinetics(all AT) Peacebringer Warshade BAN PHASE (TIMED) 30 seconds per ban Missed timer = ban forfeited Total Bans 8 total bans 4 per team Bans apply to both teams Ban Declaration Requirements Each ban MUST state: Targeted AT Primary or Secondary Exact powerset name Valid Examples Ban: Defender – Secondary – Radiation Emission Ban: Controller – Primary – Fire Control Ban: Tanker – Secondary – Dark Armor Ambiguous bans are void. VEAT RULES (Widows & Crab Spiders) VEAT (Villain Epic Archetype): Widows and Crab Spiders are special archetypes that branch into distinct build paths instead of using standard Primary/Secondary powersets. BUILD SWAP RULE Build swapping is allowed during a match Swapping builds places ALL powers on cooldown No resets, pauses, or exceptions Strategic Note: Build swaps are high-risk, high-reward, especially impactful in late-game or isolated situations. VEAT Side Note: Any VEAT AT will have all 3 builds inspected for build path compliance. All powers will go on cooldown — swap early so your powers are charged and ready once the match starts.
