Hey, good find. I had a feeling that Mako Mastery powers might often all apply "wet" but wasn't going to go through the tedium of testing them all because of the principle of that work being offloaded onto us. Waterspout is a good power in general though, and certainly it could and would make sense in **gameplay** for a build with Arse Control. It's a bit unfortunate that it makes no sense in **aesthetics or theme** for my Natural Origin Gun/Traps character to conjure a sentient Waterspout though...
Sure is a good power...on a 180s recharge 🙄

The Liquid Nitrogen dispenser can spray a target location with liquid nitrogen creating a large patch of ice. Those caught in the patch of ice are dramatically slowed, take cold damage over time, tend to fall down and will be unable to jump.
-
This power now will immobilize wet targets.
Lol, wet targets? Guys, whatever you're smoking over there must be so effing good.

In the end, the real winner of this set is the taunting sturdy pet. Everything else is...barely acceptable.

Illusion control on doms?
Oh, right there. At least, there's a single imm and no trash sleeps.
-
So, this is it. Not going to have a GOOD control set, with just a few changes. Just the one everyone requested, actually.
As a side but sad note, Arsenal Control will be the ONLY control set in the game with an AOE disorient AND without any meaningful aoe or cone immobilize. Heck, not even a single, lol.

- Tranquillizer (would be excellent with vomit/choking effect instead of sleep, but I can leave it as is without too much drama)
- Cryo Freeze Ray (just move it here)
- Wide Area Web Grenade (copy/paste from Arachnos set adjusting the numbers as needed)
- Liquid Nitrogen
- Cloaking Device
- Smoke Canister
- Flash Bang
- Tear Gas
- Gun Drone (would be excellent to add some variety in attacks to make it less boring)
Few updates to make the set compelling, competitive and fun! C'mon devs! 🙏

Yeah, it's pretty on theme if you're rping as a garbage can.
Illusion is threat control, it makes sense for the caster to have invisibility and no root. Because a root would be detrimental to it, and invisibility allows it to set up the threat magnets without interference.
On a set with smoke grenade that desperately needs a means to keep things in its patches that aggro? No, it's not useful.
Honestly, I can live happily without your RPing Seal of Approval while buttstriking from stealth the whole Paragon City 24/7.
As I stated clearly above, I'm absolutely agree about the desperate need of an aoe imm, but not at the cost of cloaking device. Is it situational? Maybe? Would I pick it for my build? Hell yes, even as a simple LOTG mule. Get rid of sleep nade instead, which I'm sure I would not ever pick.

Cloaking is very useful for getting into position. The problem is you have to choose between the advantage of being unseen against having your gun happy pet out shooting everything in sight. It doesn't jive with the rest of the set.
So is Illusion Control, where you have TWO stealth powers.

3: Kill cloaking device for an aoe immob.
Nope. Just, no.
It's so thematically good AND useful. Kill AoE sleep instead.

Imho, those are the ideal fixes to the whole set:
1- Move Cryo to tier 1;
2- Replace Sleep Grenade with Web Grenade (AoE Imm);
3- Give a couple diversity attack options to the Gun Drone (eg, a cone Flamethrower-like attack or some sort of AoE)
This would solve the Contaiment issue very nice and quick, plus giving some nice QoL features.

Oh please, stop it. Two pages talking about a power name, which is perfectly fine and in-context as is. Just test the damn thing and report, if anything.

Arsenal/Traps troller it's so fun it's not even fun. Control tools are everywhere, proc are flying and the new Temp Bomb is soooo satisfying when it goes KABOOM.

Trip mine is very, very underpowered in comparison with devices/traps version. Is that intended?

-
Tested Arse/arse (huh) dom fully billions geared at 50 against +4/x8 new Council. It absolutely wreck things, given that the really only aoe damage is trip mine and it exposes you for some danger. The pet is almost as effective as is...boring. A different look and some added attacks would be very welcome. Just move cryo to tier 1 power and we're almost set.

Tried several, but keep going back to the glorious Inv/SS. It feels just so...tanky.

Mind Control: I've taken this to 50 once (/Psi Assault). Blech.
Blech? BLECH?!?
HA! There's nothing you can't do as a (fully optimized) mind/psi dom. NOTHING.
...well, maybe those pesky IDF robots could be annoying.

Great idea! Was there a pairing with which you were most disappointed and didn’t make the cut?
Every pairing has its own reason to be played imo. But well, KM/regen was...rough.

Care to share that Rad/Stone build?
Did I mention double KD proc on dmg auras?

After testing out for a looooong time every combination and builds, I finally have my fab four which I play regularly and very scrapperificly.
FAMINE: Stj/nin. I just love her. Stj has some issue, but it feels SO satisfying. Very efficient boss killer, thanks to an impressive alpha strike: 100% crit on a builded up crushing uppercut is a sight to behold. Nin has lots of tools, but no taunt aura and poor DDR overall, but there are functional workarounds. All in all, it feels...crunchy.
PESTILENCE: Enm/bio. Hits like a freaking truck on steroids and well, you know bio. Not the best survivalist, but you have tools to hold your own ground.
WAR: Dm/SD. Here you are, kill me if you can. He can take everything you throw at him, literally. Capped pos def, great DDR, TH debuffs, taunt aura, a little heal and respectable damage. AND soul storm, my mini fulcrum shift.
DEATH: Rad/Stone. If he only had a taunt aura, probably would be the most efficient out of all. But oh well. Damage out of the roof and a lot of survivability, sort of crossover between Enm/bio and Dm/SD. What I love the most are two dmg auras AND brimstone armor.

Make a billion-inf worth Mind/Psi dom and go dominate the world.
-
Perks:
- +280% global recharge (350% with T4 Ageless)
- softcapped ranged def
- capped s/l res
- every bonus aura equipped
- last but not least: cheap build! You just need the 2 ATO, no purples
Mid's not updated yet, the 2 upgrades are mules for +7.5% HP UG and +recovery from miracle.
About 9 secs of downtime for Soul Extraction, 6 secs with T4 Ageless.

Tested longer this time, with a maxed out Nin/Dark build. All good and juicy, but...the Oni goes immediately out of end, with a 58% end red.
-
Dunno if it's already on book, but Sudden Acceleration KBTKD in Repulsion Field completely kills not only repel and knockback, but also knockdown. It does...nothing.

Focused Feedback: Arsenal Control

I believe Devs wanted to offer a whole new set with new mechanics instead of the usual stuff. Smoke can is a good and somewhat functional test. But that ended with "Wet". 😓
