I didn’t think about Nin secondary. I will check it out

Deathstroke has always been a favourite character of mine and I tried a few times to make a homage to him but never got it right. I am wondering what does the community think which AT and power set would suit him? My initial thoughts: scrapper/Brute BS/SR or WP scrapper/Brute DB/SR or WP sentinal DP/SR or WP + Nin epic Thanks in advance

So I respecced into this build and my End bar is getting smashed after a few attacks of Dark blast/gloom and life drain. I cannot sustain the attack and firing other abilities of dark miasma. Back to the drawing board

Ahh thanks didn’t realise. What is the optimal proc to use for soul extraction now?
-
That’s awesome - thank you for the explanation. Looks like heal and panacea is all that’s needed for dark empowerment. Saved some spots!
-
Thank you for linking this tread. I would have never realised you talked so much in depth about procs and minion enhancement. So am I right Panacea, Kismet will affect the minions because it’s down as “others” but miracle/numina/impervious skin will only affect you even though it’s in an enhancement power because it’s set as “self only”?

Hi all, I'm working on my endgame Neco/Dark/Soul MM and need some advice on optimizing my slot configuration and power selection. My build is the result of reading many forum posts and incorporates ideas from various builds—special thanks to @StrikerFox for the minion and dark empowerment/enchant dead suggestions. What I am not sure about is how powers like dark empowerment/enchant undead slotting transfer to the minions - do they take on unique like Impervious Skin, Numina and even Steadfast+3% Def? Are there any other strategies or tweaks I can use to boost performance or conserve slots while achieving the same effects? Thanks in advance! Mastermind (Necromancy - Dark Miasma) NEW.mbd

Thanks for the explanation. Makes me feel I should just carry on
-
Thanks - so what I am experiencing is pretty normal? I just want to make sure I am not doing anything wrong as everyone seems to rave about Bio

Most EB I have trouble with. Also when I am surrounded by more then 4 minions they start whittling me down quickly as my S/L resistance is only in the 50s and little or no defence. Especially against lethal resistance mobs because of claws damage. If I don’t kill them quickly they I am in trouble. it feels like every mob I have to kill them all within 1min otherwise I have to take inspiration or hope DNA siphon recharges

Hi all, I recently started a Claws/Bio Scrapper, and he's now level 30, but I am struggling to play effectively above +1/2 difficulty. For some background, I've been playing since live Issue 4, so I have a solid grasp of the basics. I recently came back to Homecoming, and typically, by level 22, my characters feel strong, and I start increasing difficulty. However, with Claws/Bio, Im just not feeling that power curve. I recently fought Cortex (an EB) at +1, and he wiped me in two hits. I had to come back after leveling up, using a lot of Inspirations just to win. My usual approach is to activate Ablative Carapace (I've now switched to Efficient stance permanently since Aggressive wasnt working) and then jump into the fight. My characters tend to be well-funded I start with 500m Inf, and I have all attuned enhancements, including ATOs. I really want this toon to work. Does it improve later with specific powers or slotting? Am I missing something fundamental? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I just found this post after searching for Willpower build. @Thraxen your build is great - can I ask why you have taken Tactics instead of just using FA?
-
I am wondering if anyone has tried Ice mastery and what do you think about it? I am thinking it looks a pretty awesome epic with S/L defence along with C/F resistance. Also with Hoarfrost you can increase your HP with only around 30s ish downtime
-
Thanks for looking at it @StrikerFox. Looks like too many sacrifices need to be made to achieve the resistances in your build. I might tinker a bit and see if I can closer without losing too much recharge, endurance and damage.
-
So I updated my build to include Dark Mastery but I am struggling to get S/L to high enough level with Murky Cloud @StrikerFox any ideas how I can improve this or do you think I am fine at 37.56% before Ember demon buff? I am also struggling to get a Whip attach in so I might revisit Shadowy binds. I do miss Soul Tentacles on Soul Mastery Darkest Night v4 Dark Mastery.mbd

Thank you @DocMidknight - I am impressed you managed to get such high defence! I didn't think about Agility Core - I might give it a try and see how it works out. I also want degenerative but went down the reactive route and I am at T3 so need to weight and build a another degenerative once I re-done my Alpha

Thank you @Onlyasandwich for sharing your build. I wasn't sure about the whip attacks but you might have swayed me. You have some really good power ideas which I am going to look through

Thanks very much @StrikerFox the slotting tips and changes are really helpful. I think I am will change my slotting based on your suggestions. I am impressed how you manage to get 2 procs on demonlings and still got good enhancements. I been thinking of Dark Mastery but I like the visuals on Soul tentacles and storm and see what I can achieve with Murky Cloud. Also good idea on the resistance as I forgot about the ember demons buffs on Mids. Also do you think it is not worth enhancing Demons Resistance and healing? Really appreciate this

Hi everyone, I've been playing my Demons/Dark/Soul Mastermind for a while now, and I've worked hard to min/max it using ideas and suggestions I've gathered from forum posts. However, I'd love to get more direct feedback from the community on improving my build further. My Ultimate Goals Handle +4/x8 content reliably. Solo GMs and AVs. Solo Trials, if possible. Current Choices I’ve picked my Epic Pool and Incarnates based on theme rather than raw performance. I’m aware that Banished Pantheon Lore pets or something like Mu Patron or Ice Epic might be more effective choices, and I’m open to switching if necessary to hit my goals. At the moment, my Alpha is T4, and the rest of my Incarnates are T3. What I’m Looking For I’d appreciate any advice on: Slotting optimizations for my pets and powers. Set bonuses I should prioritize to improve survivability, endurance, or damage output. Ideas for better synergy between Demons/Dark/Soul and my chosen powers. Suggestions for Incarnate abilities or Epic pools that might fit my goals. Thanks in advance for taking the time to help! Looking forward to your ideas and suggestions. Regards Darkest Night v3.mbd

Thank you - all working now

Is there an updated version of this? When I open this in new Mids it creates an error and wont open

Welcome back! I recently returned as well and it’s been great fun so far. With DA you need to really slot your attacks with End Red as I find it is attacks that drain your endurance the most especially a set like katana which is relatively fast activating and recharging. If you are using basic IOs I would slot your attacks with Acc x2, Dam x 3 and End x1 If you have kismet +hit then you might get away with just 1x Acc. If you need some INF to help you along send me a DM and I can mail you some.

I really think you are spot on it’s all psychology. I get annoyed with myself when I run up to a mob line up and wait for the animation and whiff I completely miss. I am like what the hell. It’s a stationary target and I am supposed to be a super assassin lol.

Still learning stalkers but it’s been great so far. One question I would like to ask the stalker community. I am missing a lot with AS from hide. I mean more than I would expect. It doesn’t really matter since I don’t reveal myself after a miss but it’s very odd that I miss so much. Is there a mechanic or a quirk I am missing? I have 58% accuracy and this is against +1 and +2 mobs.

I always favored the scrapper for melee characters and never understood the point of stalkers, viewing them merely as weaker scrappers who preferred stealth to direct combat. However, this perception has changed dramatically. Due to a character concept I had I rolled a BS/SR scrapper and levelled him to 28, but became disenchanted by the mediocre damage output, which many NPCs resisted. Curiosity led me to the scrapper forums, where I read about the superior performance of BS when used by stalkers. Encouraged, I decided to give it a try. Following the advice on the forums, I invested in two ATO procs, and the result was astounding. The damage output was phenomenal, and with the ATO procs, the character felt incredibly powerful and enjoyable. This stalker could not only match but surpass my scrapper in every aspect. In one notable encounter with a large mob, the Build Up proc activated four times, resulting in a spectacular display of critical hits and big orange numbers. Now, I am a complete convert—I absolutely love stalkers. They offer the ability to stealth, engage in combat effectively, and deliver tremendous damage, making them thrilling to play. I wish I tried them earlier
