Hey everyone! I could use some assistance if any of you are so inclined. I'm new to the game and trying to wrap my head around everything but feeling like I'm missing some details that might make me a more effective player.
My toon is a level 29 Fire/Flire blaster and I'm not sure how to proceed with it. I've taken everything out of Fire Blast except for Rain of Fire. In Fire Manipulation I specced out of Combustion and have not yet taken Consume, Burn, or Hot Feet. The only other Ancillary powers I've taken are Hover, Flight, and Evasive Maneuvers. With all of that said, I'm not sure what to take next?
I play almost exclusively solo, although I'm definitely open to changing that up. In general, I've gotten pretty good at pulling mobs but haven't quite figured out jousting. I tend to open fights with Aim/Build Up then Blazing Bolt and Blaze. I'll continue throwing ranged attacks until the mobs reach me, then depending on how many there are, Firesword/Fire Blast/Flares or cycle through Fireball/Breath of Fire/Fire Sword Circle. Inferno is my "oh crap" button.
I haven't adjusted the number or difficulty of the mobs. Survivability was a little weak in the teens and early 20's but I seem to be holding my own okay at the moment. I am never low on endurance, which feels surprising, especially with hover/evasive maneuvers, and cauterizing aura always on.
I'm a little unclear about the best way to handle enhancements when you're midgame. Someone in the help channel suggested just getting generic IO's until 50, so that's what I've been doing-- Stocked up at level 20 and have been trying to switch them out to 30. Most of my damage abilities have Acc/Dam/Range. Aim and Build Up have one To Hit buff and three Recharge Reductions. Stamina has 2 Endurance Mods, and Hover and EM have 2 Defense Buffs.
I suppose, what I'm really asking, is how should I build out my blaster to continue being able to effectively solo? None of the remaining fire manipulation powers seem especially interesting but if the best course of action is picking them all up, I will. I'm considering dipping into leadership or medicine, but happy to take suggestions if there might be more effective choices.
Thanks so much for your help!
