AE arc #68409. This is the origin story of a "solo supergroup" I've created. Originally I only wanted to make 1-2 silly characters, but it snowballed and now it's an SG with 52 characters in it... lol... I published the arc at 4am this morning but hopefully I wasn't too sleepy to include big problems in it. 🙂 Thank you very much for your time If you take a look at it!

Yeah sorry, I'm live brainstorming here 😆 I think intent mostly debuffs (like the vibe of Poison and unlike something like Empathy which is all buffs) and about bad/good luck, or "odds/probability" (attempting here to make this less 'magic' as previously discussed)... Yeah since in CoH everything is "powers", for silence probably would need to be the "replace the next attack attempt into Brawl" thing, or something inoffensive like brawl. Perhaps as you use powers, you build up stacks and in the powerset there's a single power used to unleash the stacks on an enemy or teammate. Obv unleashing on an enemy would make something bad happen to them but use them on a teammate would be something good...

Yeah in a way I have same misgivings about my own idea... and also I agree about the fact that there are already things in the game that can be tricky to make sense of in sense of certain powersets/powerpools being combined with certains origins lol... Maybe instead of hexing/cursing... could be called something else. Glitching? Hacking? Probability Altering (what is good becomes bad, what is bad becomes good)? We're getting in "Domino" territory here... 🙂

Hexing/Cursing powerset (Defender primary, Corr/Troller/MM Secondary) that is mostly debuffs etc (in the same vein as Poison/Storm/Dark, not a lot of heals/buffs in those powersets). Would have a "cursed" mechanic where enemies get increasingly cursed (aka bad luck stacks) and get high chances of just fumbling things: slip and fall attack one of their teammates instead of you attack themselves instead of you drop their weapon and can only Brawl maybe heal the player instead of damaging them (tricky to do probably) Ideas of powers: rain of frogs (some kind of aoe debuff?) voodoo doll (animation of holding a voodoo doll and stabbing it with a needle - builds "bad luck" stacks on an enemy?) silencing power? single target confuse power fear based power locusts? debuff power (defense and/or to hit and/or resist) life steal but it heals your team, mechanic like Brilliant Barrage (dual target) On the downside it would mostly just make sense with Magic origin but players usually finds way to make things work with funky backstories anyway.

I have a strange problem with the travel "pop up" power tray (the tray that pops up when Fly is ON, to show the Afterburner icon, as example). Tried running the game fullscreen or windowed Tried with Power Tray Animations enabled and disabled Tried /window_resetall command Tried restarting game Tried rebooting computer None of the above fixed the problem. The only fix is to alt-tab out of the game and then alt-tab back in. This is kinda annoying to do everytime I turn a travel power ON or OFF.... This is when everything is normal and I haven't clicked on anything yet: Then usually when I click on Fly, this happens: Sometimes, the glitch doesn't happen, but then when I turn Fly OFF, this happens:

Enemy, Ally and Giant Monster NPCs located outside ("floor 1") just randomly vanish... and I suspect some or all of them "teleport" to inside the cave (partially inside a cave wall maybe, or right against it) for some reason. So as example, if there's a mission objective to defeat a boss and his minions, when some minions vanish/teleport, I can't defeat them, so the objective cannot be completed... They seem to vanish when I get close to them. If I observe from afar, they look okay.

Slash command for global friend broadcast
Electricboots replied to Electricboots's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm sure there are workaround to a lot of things, I won't pretend my suggestion isn't a "Quality of Life enhancement". It's not a request for some new groundbreaking feature. Also, we're not the devs and so I won't speculate on work effort. If you can't see the difference between what I suggested and having each player create their own channel, invite each global friend to it, relying on each global friend to add the channel to their chat tab every time they create a new character, then *shrug* -
Slash command for global friend broadcast
Electricboots replied to Electricboots's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Right, it can be a one-way chat channel or a command that sends tells to all online global friends, and then if a recipient wants to reply, they reply with a tell. It comes to the same thing in term of functionality... -
Slash command for global friend broadcast

There's a chat for Server Friends but there isn't anything for Global Friends. I guess my idea isn't a new chat channel, but just a shortcut so that instead of manually sending the same tell to each Global Friend one by one, we would have one command to send the same tell to all online Global Friends in one shot. -
I feel this could be doable (not sure how easy though) since the game can already do the following: Destructible environment (like on mayhem missions) Costume replacement - replacing player's model for 1 mission Giving the player temp powers just for 1 mission Suppressing the player's own powers for 1 mission So basically, setting could be the enemy group's outdoor base (something like the Council base in Striga, as example). Player steals a mecha (let's say, Kronos-sized) and has to escape the base, rampaging around and shooting lasers/missiles at the enemy (could be a large army, like in the last Vincent Ross mission).
