  1. I legit appreciate you sharing this, thank you. Unfortunately, it was suggested to me in game as well. My shader quality is set to high, and clicking it does not change it like it does with any other similar options. It just stays on high. The close button on the window does not change to "apply now" either. It would be great if it worked, but for me it doesn't. My laptop I play on isn't the highest quality or anything, so I fully expect the issue is on my end, not with the server.
  2. Short Version: I have really bad eyes and they mess with my vision in varying degrees. The textured ones are the worst, but bright ones (especially bright textured ones) give me migraines. I have had to quit more than one team over them. Now, I'm not selfish. I get people customize their powers to match their character concept, favorite colors, or both. I'm not asking for them to be taken away from them, or their options to customize them. Could you please give us an option to turn them off in graphical settings or something? noparticles does not render them invisible. They are popular, and I get why, they are great buffs. Sadly with my eyes though, I am starting to wonder if I am going to be forced to quit the game if something is not done to allow me to block the visuals locally.
  3. False equivalency. You are comparing something that players can block if they do not want it if other players use it to something cannot block if they do not want it when other players use it. I'd be thrilled if I "had to" go to Null the Gull with each of my characters to block those hideous visuals. Also in something like a raid, or an iTrial you often have an insane amount of buff icons at once. There is a lot going on, and tracking down the icons of the visuals you do not want (or in some cases literally causes headaches) is time consuming and not fair to the team. More often than not, they are set to auto-fire and it only grants a few moments of peace anyway. I am of the same mind as RadiantPhoenix. Please give us the option to block it on our side. That way those that enjoy the visuals can enjoy them, and those of us who don't can avoid them.
  4. This would be the first Echo zone fully created by Homecoming, so it could potentially have extra options. If that cannot be done, a GM could be an option like in Echo DA. The lava filled section of The Hollows is a false dichotomy. That is an underground section of the zone. Mot infested FF is an entire zone transformation, and part of a timeline. Edit: To expand on why it could exist is the same reason as the other Echoes. True, in the mission you can clear out the enemies, yes. What you cannot do is remove the mot tentacles and bones.
  5. The above is accurate, I am suggesting zero changes to the current zone. With the exception of Galaxy, all the other Echoes exist in addition to the normal zone. As for tidge's suggestions: 1. Aren't all echo zones co-op? 2. That's literally covered in the DA arc. 3. Never said it should.
  6. What about making the Mot-infested version of it into a full zone? I'm far from a coder, but it seems like this wouldn't be as hard as something 100% new like an original zone. Most of the art/animations exist in game and all. It would be great if there were missions, a zone event, and/or a "new" GM like Mother Keres, the avatar of Mot, and/or the Sentinel of Mot.
  7. Any chance we can get some pride flag emblems for our uniforms/flags for our bases for this? Pretty please?
