My concept character is a Rad/Temp blaster and I have an unfinished build I got from JJDrakken's random builds, and tore it apart to fit my concept powers. However, I'm stuck and will take some help from other more experienced blasters to finish it, maybe even swap some stuff around? Any eyes on this is appreciated... I'm wanting to go through with a Praetorian character and do First and Night Ward arcs when I get there. I'm stuck staring at the character creation screen. What would you make to tackle Praetoria?

I admit I usually don't lean much on procs because there's only a chance they go off vs doing full damage with the attack slotted. However, I do see a lot of builds using them so my "cautiousness" must not be justified. I am a touch below incarnate (59%?) however most incarnate stuff is with teams and that brings buffs so I shouldn't worry too much. I do like the build and it's high recharge even with more resists, which always helps especially when my health drops. I might try it out on the test server and see how comfortable it is. And I usually build for more accuracy incase of debuffs when I don't take tactics or focused acc.

I spared no expense and wanted to get those percentages as high as I could in most my powers. I didn't bother much with resists and chucked my recharge as high as I could get it. I'd figure I'd use Ageless for endurance issues, and unsure about my Alpha slot yet. I'm still leveling this guy so this is a work in progress. This is why I like posting builds; There's always someone with a little more knowledge with bonuses. Losing Psi hurts a bit, I really liked the thought of throwing around some extra damage type. I do like the build, very much so. I'll play around a bit more and see what I can come up with as well.

This is expensive and I'm not against lowering the cost, but it does give me something to work towards. I'm a purple away from over 45% s/l/m, and my resists seem just okay. I made a few changes based on what you pointed out. Added in Soul Mastery, got Dark Embrace, Soul Drain and Power Boost. Those should help a lot when soloing, which I don't do too much on this guy. You've both given me a lot to think about. Luckily, I have time to play with these builds as I need to get the funds to make it now that he's 50. I might make him on the beta server and try them out. I do want incarnate levels of softcap because I plan on doing incarnate content, and rather now rely on outside buffs just in case. I also want a decent attack chain for exemping down, but that's not an issue whether I take SIphon Life or not, with the other 3 attacks. So far playing, I am using Dark Consumption. I only have Cardiac up to the second tier at the moment. Again, I have some time.

Thanks for looking at my build Infinitum. I didn't know that about Siphon Life and it makes sense so who am I to argue. I am iffy about One with the Shield only because of the crash. I get into scrapperlock tunnel vision sometime and won't be paying attention, but maybe I need to learn too lol. I'm still over Incarnate defense with a single ally in range so that works for me. Endurance has been alright, so I might make a couple different Alphas. I enjoy the numbers though for my resists...
