  1. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, THE HIVE] TRISH TAKANAWA (voice raised over the roar of battle, camera trembling as green light floods the horizon): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent for Paragon News Network — reporting live from The Hive, where one of the most extraordinary alliances in Paragon history is underway. Heroes and villains — sworn enemies — are standing side by side tonight against the abomination known as Hamidon. And at the very center of it all is one woman: Ms. Atomik, the radiation-powered tank whose raw courage and containment fields are holding the front line together.” [Cut to footage: waves of gelatinous Hamidon mitochondria smashing against force barriers; flashes of atomic energy radiate outward from Ms. Atomik, her glowing silhouette leading the charge.] TRISH (voiceover): “Witnesses describe Ms. Atomik as a living reactor — her energy flares stabilizing the battlefield, her presence allowing dozens of meta-humans, including Librarian of Ruin, the apparent strike force leader, Holyknight Neptune, Invisible Pam, Hex Offender, Ragnahawk and Neo Noir, just to name a few, to coordinate their assault in the most dangerous environment on the planet. Arachnos, Longbow, Vanguard, and independent heroes alike have put aside politics and grudges to bring down the primordial entity threatening all life in the Isles.” [Cut to a Vanguard field officer, shouting over the chaos.] ‘If Ms. Atomik wasn’t here, the Hive would’ve gone critical by now! She’s soaking up more radiation than any containment suit could survive — and somehow she’s still standing!’ [Back to Trish, shielding her face from a shockwave as the ground trembles.] “Reports indicate that both Ms. Atomik and the combined strike league have pushed deep into Hamidon’s central core, forcing the creature to retreat into its spawning cysts. The cooperation between rival forces — many of whom have fought each other for years — has stunned observers across the Isles.” [Cut to Professor Peculiar, monitoring from Vanguard command.] ‘Moments like this remind us that some threats eclipse our rivalries. Hamidon doesn’t care who wears the cape or who breaks the law. Tonight, survival itself is the cause — and Ms. Atomik is proving that heroism can glow brighter than any reactor.’ [Back to Trish, the sky behind her pulsing green.] “Whether this fragile alliance will hold once Hamidon falls remains to be seen — but for now, Paragon’s finest, its fiercest, and its most feared stand united. And at their heart, one woman of pure atomic willpower holds the line for them all. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa — reporting from The Hive. This is Your News at 11.”
  2. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, CAP AU DIABLE] TRISH TAKANAWA (reporting live from the industrial district, her voice steady over the wail of distant sirens): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent for the Paragon News Network. Tonight, the streets of Cap au Diable are once again a battlefield, as an explosive clash between rival factions of villains and mercenaries has left parts of the industrial quarter in ruin. At the center of the chaos — the unpredictable anarchist The Squizzler — seen joining forces with the speedster Overdrive to take on members of The Family, after reports surfaced that the organization had placed a bounty on Overdrive’s head.” [Cut to aerial footage: smoke pouring from a bullet-riddled speakeasy, Arachnos patrols securing the perimeter. Several Longbow drones hover above, recording the aftermath.] TRISH (voiceover): “According to sources, the confrontation began when Family enforcers ambushed Overdrive near the rail depot. Squizzler reportedly intervened mid-attack — not to save a friend, but, as one witness put it, ‘to make the odds interesting.’ Moments later, chaos erupted as Mangle and Hollow Point — notorious freelance villains — arrived on scene to collect the bounty.” [Cut to a local bystander, bandaged and soot-streaked, shaking his head in disbelief.] ‘It was madness — bullets, lightning, whatever that green energy thing Squizzler does. Overdrive was zipping through gunfire like it was nothing. Then this woman — Desdemona, I think? — shows up with these glowing runes and demons, fighting alongside them! I don’t know who was the hero and who wasn’t anymore.’ [Back to Trish on-site, her tone low and intense.] “Desdemona, the self-proclaimed demonologist and mastermind known for her uneasy relationship with both Arachnos and the Circle of Thorns, is said to have joined the fray, conjuring infernal allies to turn the tide. Together, she, Overdrive, and Squizzler reportedly defeated both Mangle and Hollow Point before disappearing into the chaos that followed.” [Cut to Captain Verax, visibly agitated at a press briefing.] ‘Cap au Diable isn’t a playground for mercenaries. Whatever temporary alliances formed here tonight are meaningless — these are criminals turning on criminals. We are assessing the damage, recovering what’s left of the Family’s assets, and determining if any of these so-called “villains” pose an immediate threat to Arachnos authority.’ [Back to Trish, standing before a shattered neon sign flickering in the rain.] “What began as a hit job devolved into a multi-faction melee — one that’s left the Family humiliated, two bounty hunters hospitalized, and the uneasy alliance between Squizzler, Overdrive, and Desdemona shrouded in speculation. Was this a case of survival against common enemies — or the beginning of a darker, more deliberate partnership among the Isles’ most unpredictable metahumans? For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  3. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, GRANDVILLE BUREAU] TRISH TAKANAWA (standing before a jagged rock face cordoned off by Arachnos hazard teams, her tone crisp and urgent): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent for the Paragon News Network. Tonight, chaos and confusion reign in Grandville, following reports that the notorious opportunist and self-styled supervillain The Squizzler has destroyed one of the most dangerous mystical relics ever recovered in the Rogue Isles — the Taper of the Frozen Flame. The artifact, said to be a demonic candle capable of amplifying its wielder’s powers a hundredfold, was unearthed earlier this week in the deep Orenbegan caverns beneath Grandville. Longbow forces and the cryokinetic vigilante Polar Shift were both reportedly on site attempting to secure the relic when The Squizzler appeared.” [Cut to shaky security footage: a distorted lens shows bright flashes, silhouettes of Longbow soldiers in retreat, and a figure in mismatched armor and goggles leaping through arcs of flame.] TRISH (voiceover): “Though details remain scarce, recovered surveillance indicates The Squizzler fought his way past both Longbow and Polar Shift, engaging in a chaotic three-way battle that included Circle of Thorn forces, before using an improvised device — described by experts as a ‘negative thaumic destabilizer’ — to shatter the Taper of the Frozen Flame in an explosion of violet fire. Moments later, all three combatant factions vanished from visual range.” [Cut to an Arachnos field analyst in protective gear, speaking tersely.] ‘The candle’s destruction released a burst of infernal energy equivalent to a small-scale dimensional breach. Frankly, it’s a miracle this entire cavern didn’t collapse. If The Squizzler truly destroyed it, he may have saved us all from something far worse — though I doubt that was his intent.’ [Back to Trish, the crimson light of Grandville’s towers reflecting off her hair as she continues.] “Speculation now swirls across the Isles and Paragon City alike. Why would a villain like The Squizzler — a man known for chaotic ambition and opportunism — destroy a relic that could have elevated him to near-godlike power? Was it an act of conscience? A warning? Or part of a larger game beyond mortal understanding?” [Cut to a Longbow spokesperson addressing the media via holo-briefing, the connection flickering.] ‘We confirm our forces were present in the Orenbegan caverns during the incident. Polar Shift was assisting in containment efforts. The Squizzler’s actions, though destructive, may have prevented catastrophic misuse of the artifact. That does not absolve him of responsibility for the collateral damage.’ [Back to Trish, tone measured but ominous.] “Tonight, what remains of the Taper of the Frozen Flame has been sealed and transferred to an undisclosed location under Vanguard supervision. The Squizzler’s whereabouts are unknown. One thing is clear — in a world where power is currency, he just threw away a fortune. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  4. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, ATLAS PLAZA STUDIOS] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, tone grave): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent for Paragon News Network. Tonight, Paragon City reels from one of the most divisive incidents in recent memory — the arrest of the former heroine Polar Shift following her bombing of a Longbow command outpost in Brickstown. Authorities say the strike caused extensive structural damage, though miraculously, there were no civilian casualties. But the story grows murkier with each passing hour, as recordings have surfaced allegedly capturing Officer Jameson of said Longbow command outpost issuing a ‘kill command’ on Polar Shift — just days before the attack. To help us understand the circumstances of her arrest, I’m joined now by Professor Peculiar — the mystically inclined demonologist hero who led the task force that brought Polar Shift into custody.” [Cut to split screen: Trish on the left, Professor Peculiar seated calmly in a bright, orderly lab. Strange brass instruments hum in the background.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Professor, thank you for speaking with us. Many in the hero community are calling this a tragedy — a hero turned fugitive. Can you describe what happened during the arrest?” PROFESSOR PECULIAR (measured, articulate): ‘Trish, it was not an easy operation. Polar Shift is one of the most gifted cryokinetics alive. When we found her, she was… distraught, convinced she was doing the right thing. She believed the corruption within that Longbow outpost justified her actions. We had to act quickly to subdue her without further loss of life. I used containment wards to nullify her powers — but even then, she fought like someone betrayed.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “There are rumors she targeted that particular HQ because of internal misconduct — and the alleged audio recording of Officer Jameson ordering her death seems to support that claim. How does that affect the perception of this case?” PROFESSOR PECULIAR (sighs): ‘It complicates everything. If Jameson truly acted outside the law, then Polar Shift wasn’t wrong to feel endangered. But taking the law into her own hands — bombing a facility — crosses a line heroes can’t afford to cross. I’ve turned her over to proper custody because justice must be seen, not seized. I was also obliged to take Officer Jameson into custody after he and his contingent attacked me during my investigation.’ TRISH TAKANAWA (somber nod): “Some in the hero community argue this shows systemic flaws in how Longbow handles metahuman oversight. Others say Polar Shift’s actions invite chaos. Where do you stand?” PROFESSOR PECULIAR: ‘Both can be true, Ms. Takanawa. Corruption must be confronted. But if every hero becomes judge and executioner, we stop being heroes. We become storms without purpose.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio.] “Tonight, Polar Shift remains in secure containment under Vanguard supervision, while an inquiry into Officer Jamesons' actions is underway. For some, she is a fallen heroine; for others, a whistleblower driven too far. Either way, her story has shaken Paragon’s faith in its protectors — and in its institutions. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  5. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, THE HOLLOWS DISTRICT] TRISH TAKANAWA (reporting live, the night sky over Cherry Hill flickering with the last embers of battle): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent for the Paragon News Network. Tonight, the streets of Cherry Hill in the Hollows bear witness to another strange and chilling development in the ongoing struggle for control of the district. The notorious necromantic mastermind known only as Mr. Halloween has struck again—this time defeating Circuit, the electricity-wielding lieutenant of the Outcasts gang, in what witnesses describe as a ‘nightmare made flesh.’ [Cut to on-site footage: cracked walls and scorched flooring visible in the hallway A few Longbow containment officers move in hazmat gear.] TRISH (voiceover): “According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation began when Circuit and his crew attempted to extort a local supply depot. Moments later, a dense fog rolled in, and figures—described as ‘rotting soldiers in tattered clothing' and a faintly shimmering robed ghost —emerged from the shadows. Circuit reportedly unleashed his full electrical fury, but the undead closed ranks, absorbing the blasts while Mr. Halloween advanced.” [Cut to a shaken witness, a local vendor clutching a steaming cup of coffee.] ‘He didn’t shout or posture—he just raised that staff and the dead came up from the asphalt. Circuit ran into the building, but those spirits—they chased him and drained the light right out of him. The whole building went dark for a minute. When the lights came back… he was gone.’ [Cut to Trish standing before the smoldering remains of a power junction box.] “Authorities have not yet confirmed Circuit’s status, though Longbow sources indicate he was taken into custody unconscious, his powers severely disrupted. Mr. Halloween was gone by the time reinforcements arrived—leaving behind only a carved pumpkin emitting green fire and the words ‘Trick’s on you’ scrawled across a wall in ash.” [Cut to PNN studio, Trish seated, tone grave.] “Longbow intelligence analysts suggest Mr. Halloween’s growing presence in the Hollows could mark the rise of a new criminal faction—one driven by occult power and vengeance against the living. Whether his war is personal or strategic remains unclear, but one thing is certain: wherever he walks, fear follows. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  6. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, CAP AU DIABLE] TRISH TAKANAWA (on location, her voice firm over the low hum of emergency sirens and burning wreckage): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent, reporting from Cap au Diable—where, just hours ago, Longbow forces were driven from their forward operations base in what appears to be one of the most coordinated metahuman assaults the Isles have seen in years. Leading the charge, witnesses confirm, was none other than Rock Hammer—the powerhouse known for his brutal strength and unpredictable moral code. But unlike his usual lone operations, this time Rock Hammer led a strike force of local metahumans, some known villains, including Double Tap, Echidna, Mangle, Icecap, Giga Watts and others previously unaligned. [Cut to footage: smoke rising over the waterfront, shattered Longbow turrets, and a dozen Arachnos operatives working to secure the area.] TRISH TAKANAWA (voiceover): “The assault, described by survivors as ‘a rolling wall of destruction,’ saw Longbow forces outflanked and overpowered within minutes. Eyewitness accounts suggest Rock Hammer directed the attack with precision—targeting key supply caches and communications nodes, effectively severing Longbow’s command link before they could call for reinforcement.” [Cut to an eyewitness, a local dock technician with soot on his face.] ‘I saw him slam the ground so hard the whole street cracked. Longbow didn’t stand a chance—then those other metas came pouring in behind him. They weren’t looting. They were organized. Someone planned this.’ [Cut back to Trish.] “While Rock Hammer has previously clashed with Arachnos and vigilante groups alike, tonight’s operation raises troubling questions. Multiple intelligence sources within the Isles suggest this may not have been an independent action—but a contract strike carried out on behalf of an unidentified, high-ranking Arachnos operative seeking to purge Longbow’s presence from Cap au Diable entirely.” [Cut to Captain Verax, Arachnos representative, standing before the press.] ‘Officially, Arachnos condemns all unauthorized military activity in the Isles. However… Longbow’s presence in Cap au Diable has long been a destabilizing factor. Whoever orchestrated this assault knew exactly where to hit—and exactly what message to send. We're receiving reports that Cpl. Lewis, the ranking NCO on the ground, was among the casualties, but his current status is unknown.’ [Back to Trish, expression grave, her tone carrying that unmistakable mid-’80s Marvel gravity.] “Tonight, the people of Cap au Diable are left with more questions than answers. Was this a rogue act of defiance—or a sanctioned strike masked as rebellion? And if Rock Hammer is now acting under Arachnos direction, what larger plan is unfolding across the Isles? For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  7. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PORT OAKES] TRISH TAKANAWA (on-scene, serious, standing near a quarantined Arachnos checkpoint): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, Port Oakes finds itself at the epicenter of a crisis. The bizarre but increasingly dangerous criminal known as The Spamburglar has struck again—this time stealing a highly classified bioweapon codenamed ‘Outbreak.’ Sources confirm the theft occurred during a covert transfer, with Arachnos security already stretched thin. Spamburglar, reportedly under contract to an as-yet-unidentified benefactor, successfully extracted the virus sample despite the intervention of the Cryokinetic vigilante Snow Maiden and several Longbow operatives. [Cut to eyewitness testimony, a local dockworker clutching a cigarette with shaking hands.] ‘It was like a storm hit—ice and meat flying everywhere. Snow Maiden froze whole walls to keep him boxed in, but he just smashed through them. He didn’t even slow down. I swear I saw her fall under a hail of—of canned meat. The Longbow operators didn't know what hit them. It was fists, feet, cans and snow and ice everywhere. He just appeared out of nowhere, beat them down and faded away again. It was wild.’ [Cut back to Trish, voice steady.] “Reports indicate Snow Maiden fought valiantly but was ultimately overwhelmed. Her current condition remains unknown, though medical teams confirm she was taken from the scene unconscious but alive. Arachnos law enforcement has moved quickly to contain fallout. Captain Verax, speaking moments ago, gave this official statement.” [Cut to Captain Verax, face grim beneath his Arachnos insignia.] ‘The theft of a bioweapon is not a novelty crime—it is an act of war against stability. The Spamburglar may mask his actions in absurd theatrics, but he is a mercenary delivering devastation into unknown hands. Arachnos will hunt him down, and when we do, neither he nor his employer will find mercy.’ [Cut back to Trish, the scene behind her cordoned off with red quarantine barriers.] “Tonight, Port Oakes stands on edge. With Outbreak now in the hands of an unknown buyer, and with one of its most stalwart defenders, Snow Maiden, defeated, the question is not whether The Spamburglar is a threat—it is how far his strange brand of villainy is willing to go. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  8. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, ROGUE ISLES] TRISH TAKANAWA (on location, voice steady with underlying urgency): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, the underworld of the Rogue Isles is reeling after a brazen incident at a clandestine auction in Port Oakes. The event—organized by the vigilantes Hollow Point and Savage Siren—was intended to traffic stolen Longbow technology to the highest bidder. But the night was shattered when the meta-human known as Rock Hammer stormed the gathering, scattering attendees and absconding with several pieces of advanced weaponry. Witnesses tell PNN that Rock Hammer denounced the organizers and participants alike, shouting, ‘This tech isn’t for the likes of scum like you!’ before tearing through the auction hall. The statement has ignited speculation: was Rock Hammer acting as a rogue hero, a rival villain, or something altogether different?” [Cut to interview: Captain Verax, Arachnos uniform crisp, expression like stone.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Captain Verax, Arachnos maintains strict interest in Longbow technology. What is your response to Rock Hammer’s actions?” CAPTAIN VERAX: ‘Let me be clear. Arachnos does not condone illegal auctions, nor does it condone unchecked vigilantism. The theft of Longbow tech represents a destabilizing variable in an already fragile ecosystem of power. Whether Rock Hammer styles himself a hero or a warlord is irrelevant. He interfered with established order, and that will have consequences.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “There’s widespread speculation about his motives. Some claim he’s targeting up-and-coming villains, others believe he’s stockpiling for himself. What is Arachnos’ position?” CAPTAIN VERAX: ‘Speculation is for tabloids. Arachnos deals in facts. And the fact is this: Rock Hammer has crossed multiple factions in a single evening. That makes him unpredictable. Unpredictability is dangerous. We will find out where his loyalties lie—and we will act accordingly.’ [Cut back to Trish, the auction hall smoldering in the background, with masked figures seen fleeing earlier in captured footage.] “Tonight, the Rogue Isles buzzes with rumor. Was Rock Hammer’s strike a statement against villainy, a personal vendetta, or the opening move of a larger campaign? One thing is certain: in a city where power is currency, Rock Hammer has just made himself very expensive. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.” [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, FOLLOW-UP REPORT] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, tone sharpened with intrigue): “Good evening once again. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight we continue our coverage of the Rock Hammer auction raid in Port Oakes. New details—and troubling rumors—have emerged. Multiple witnesses now claim Rock Hammer was not acting alone. Reports suggest he was joined by the notorious electrically based villain, Shock Treatment—but under unusual and possibly unwilling circumstances.” [Cut to footage: shaky amateur video from the raid, distorted by static, shows arcs of electricity tearing through the auction hall. Voices shout in panic. One indistinct voice can be heard: ‘I have to kill Rock! I have to kill Rock!’] TRISH TAKANAWA (voiceover): “Some witnesses insist Shock Treatment’s actions were erratic—claiming she struck at Rock Hammer and the crowd alike, all while shouting conflicting statements of loyalty and hostility.” [Cut to interview: Captain Verax, visibly irritated by the line of questioning.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Captain Verax, does Arachnos have confirmation that Shock Treatment was assisting Rock Hammer at the auction?” CAPTAIN VERAX: ‘We have confirmation of her presence. As for her intentions—those are murkier. Witness testimony suggests coercion, or perhaps psychic interference. If Shock Treatment was compelled, it raises disturbing questions about who—or what—has the power to turn an electric storm into someone else’s weapon.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “What do these reports mean for Arachnos’ ongoing investigation into Rock Hammer’s motives?” CAPTAIN VERAX: ‘If Rock Hammer has allies, willing or not, that multiplies the threat he represents. Arachnos does not tolerate pawns, nor does it tolerate rogue pieces on the board. Whoever pulled Shock Treatment’s strings, we will uncover it.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, her voice grave.] “Was Shock Treatment truly an accomplice—or was she a prisoner inside her own mind, forced to act against her will? And if so, who holds such influence over powerful metahumans? For now, the answers remain elusive. What is certain is this: Rock Hammer’s raid has opened more than just an auction house. It has opened questions that may shake the balance of power across the Rogue Isles. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  9. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PARAGON CITY] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, firm and deliberate): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, we continue our profile of Kid Extra II, the young legacy hero carrying the mantle of his beloved great-grandfather, the original Kid Extra, member of the legendary Golden Age supergroup, The Fourth Estate. Earlier, we reported on his confrontation with Skull enforcers Maxilla and Mandible. But our interview also turned to another encounter—one with the Skull lieutenant known only as Misery, a confrontation that escalated into a hostage crisis.” [Cut to interview footage: Kid Extra II, leaning forward now, tone measured but intense.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Kid Extra, you’ve spoken about ambushes and raids, but the public was especially shaken by reports of Misery holding innocent people captive. Can you tell us what happened?” KID EXTRA II: ‘Misery isn’t like Maxilla and Mandible. She doesn’t fight to win—she fights to break people. When I got word she had hostages, I knew hesitation wasn’t an option. The Skulls use fear like a weapon, and those lives were leverage. She wanted me off-balance, desperate. She didn’t get it.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “What was it like going toe-to-toe with her?” KID EXTRA II: ‘She’s dangerous. Her presence alone—it’s suffocating. She whispers, taunts, tries to crawl inside your head. Every strike she threw felt like it was aimed at my will as much as my body. But I kept focused on the hostages. If you let villains like her dictate the fight, you lose before the first punch lands.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “And the hostages—how did you manage to get them out safely?” KID EXTRA II: ‘Timing. I broke through her line, got between her and the captives, and didn’t move until they were clear. She tried to stop me, but the legacy I carry gave me strength enough to stand my ground. Those people walked away alive, and that’s what matters most.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, her expression sharpened by gravity.] “Authorities confirm that all hostages were rescued unharmed. Misery, however, escaped, vowing retribution against Kid Extra II. For a young hero stepping into a fallen mentor’s shoes, the battles are already perilous, but the victories—measured in lives saved—speak louder than words. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”

  10. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PARAGON CITY] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, serious but with a spark of energy): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, a young legacy hero steps into the spotlight. Kid Extra II, the successor to the mantle of the late hero Kid Extra, has faced his most dangerous battle yet. While aiding police in a raid on a Skull Superadine warehouse, he was ambushed by the notorious Skull enforcers Maxilla and Mandible. The clash left the building in ruins, but the young hero walked away with his mission—and his life—intact.” [Cut to interview footage: Kid Extra II, seated in his sleek, updated costume, his youthful energy tempered by the gravity of the fight. He speaks with determination but also with the humility of someone still proving himself.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Kid Extra, this was no ordinary raid. What happened inside that warehouse?” KID EXTRA II: ‘We had intel on a major Superadine stash—enough to keep half the Trolls juiced for months. I went in with a plan, but Maxilla and Mandible were waiting. It was an ambush, plain and simple. They’re not just brawlers—they’re coordinated, vicious, and they wanted to make an example out of me. I had to fight harder than I ever have before.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “Many see you as carrying a heavy legacy. Did you feel that weight in the heat of battle?” KID EXTRA II: ‘Every time I put on this costume, I feel it. My great-grandfather set the standard. The Skulls took him from this city, and I won’t let them take me. Not now, not ever. That fight in the warehouse wasn’t just about shutting down drugs—it was about showing the Skulls they don’t get to own the fear anymore.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “What can you tell us about Maxilla and Mandible?” KID EXTRA II: ‘They’re brutal. Maxilla fights like a battering ram, all power and no hesitation. Mandible is faster, sharper—like he’s trying to cut you apart piece by piece. Together, they’re devastating. But even they couldn’t stop me from bringing that warehouse down and putting a dent in the Skulls’ supply lines.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, voice grave, as a still photo of the collapsed warehouse fills the screen.] “Authorities confirm the Superadine supply was seized, though both Maxilla and Mandible escaped into the shadows of the city. For Kid Extra II, the fight was more than survival—it was a message to Paragon and its enemies alike: the legacy of Kid Extra still burns bright. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  11. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PARAGON CITY] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, measured): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, we focus on the psionically driven tanker Psycho-Bunny, who has once again stepped forward in defense of Paragon City. This time, she fought alongside Synapse and his allies in dismantling the Clockwork King’s latest bid for power, as part of the Synapse Task Force. I spoke with Psycho-Bunny earlier about the challenges she faced in this grueling campaign.” [Cut to interview footage: Psycho-Bunny, seated in a quiet studio corner, her posture steady but her eyes still carrying the weight of battle.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Psycho-Bunny, many describe the Synapse Task Force as a trial of endurance, a marathon against relentless Clockwork. How did you hold up against that strain?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘It was relentless—wave after wave of metal grinding forward. They never tire, but we do. I had to be the wall that didn’t fall. My psionics aren’t about glamour—they’re about resilience. Every strike I absorbed bought my teammates the seconds they needed to dismantle the Clockwork’s core operations.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “Working alongside Synapse is no small honor. What was it like fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with him?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘Synapse is a blur. You hear the crackle before you see him move. His speed made it possible for us to stay ahead of the swarm, but speed without an anchor burns out quick. That’s where I came in—I kept the enemy fixed so Synapse and the others could cut them down. Together, it was strategy and strength in perfect balance.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “The Clockwork King continues to menace Paragon. Did this Task Force change how you view him—or your role against him?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘He’s not just a man with machines—he’s a mind that won’t stop trying to bend this city into his design. That’s dangerous because he sees people as parts, not lives. My role is to remind him, and any like him, that we’re not parts. We fight back. We endure. And no machine can outlast willpower.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “Do you feel the Task Force was a turning point for you as a hero?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘Yes. The Positron Task Force tested teamwork. Synapse’s Task Force tested stamina and spirit. I learned I can fight long past the point I thought I’d break. That knowledge changes you. It steels you. Next time, I’ll be stronger still.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, voice steady, with a note of gravitas.] “As the Clockwork King rebuilds his forces in the shadows, heroes like Psycho-Bunny prove that courage and resilience can outlast even the most tireless enemy. In addition to my earlier conversation with Psycho-Bunny, I also spoke with Synapse himself, who offered rare words of praise for the young hero.” [Cut to footage: Synapse, arms crossed, the faint crackle of electricity dancing across his form. His tone brisk but respectful.] SYNAPSE: “The Synapse Task Force isn’t about flash—it’s about endurance. The Clockwork come at you without pause. Most new heroes burn out. Psycho-Bunny didn’t. She anchored the line, soaked the hits, and kept us moving. Without that kind of grit, we wouldn’t have finished the job. She’s the real deal.” [Cut to Trish interviewing Psycho-Bunny, following Synapse’s words.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Psycho-Bunny, hearing that kind of recognition from Synapse—what does it mean to you?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘It means everything. I didn’t step into this life looking for praise, but to earn the respect of someone who’s carried this city on his shoulders? That’s fuel. That’s proof that I’m where I belong, and I’ll keep proving it every time I step onto the field.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, her expression solemn.] “From relentless waves of Clockwork to the unyielding demands of leadership, Paragon City continues to forge new heroes in fire and steel. With Synapse’s endorsement, Psycho-Bunny stands as one of the most promising defenders of the city’s future. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  12. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PARAGON CITY] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, composed but intrigued): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, we spotlight one of Paragon City’s rising defenders: the psionically driven tanker known as Psycho-Bunny. She was recently sighted alongside other heroes during the conclusion of the Positron One Task Force, a critical mission targeting the Clockwork and the criminal machinations of the Vahzilok. I spoke with Psycho-Bunny earlier today about her involvement in this operation.” [Cut to interview footage: Psycho-Bunny, calm but intense, her costume bearing subtle psychic glow.] TRISH TAKANAWA: “Psycho-Bunny, you’ve been described as both a stabilizing presence and a living battering ram during the Task Force. How did you approach this mission?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘The Clockwork swarm was endless, and the Vahzilok’s necrotech was worse. My job was simple: keep them focused on me so my teammates could dismantle their operations. Psionics are more than mind tricks—they’re an anchor. I made sure they never broke our line.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “The Positron Task Force is considered a rite of passage for many heroes. What does it mean to you personally to have completed it?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘It’s a test. Not just of strength, but of trust. You learn quickly whether you can stand together or fall apart. I think we proved we’re ready for the battles ahead.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “Psycho-Bunny, many citizens are still unfamiliar with your abilities. Could you explain what drives your powers and how they shaped your role on this Task Force?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘My psionics are rooted in focus and resilience. I project my will as both a shield and a weapon. On the battlefield, that means I can stand at the center of chaos, draw fire, and hold the line. It’s not glamorous work, but it allows my allies to strike surgically where they’re needed.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “Reports indicate the Clockwork waves were relentless. Some Task Force members compared it to being swallowed by a living tide. How did you endure that pressure?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘Discipline. Every strike, every wave of metal crashing down, I reminded myself: fear is just noise. My mind is my anchor. When the tide comes, you plant your feet and refuse to drown. That’s what I did. That’s what I’ll always do.’ TRISH TAKANAWA: “The Task Force also faced the Vahzilok, whose grotesque creations terrorize Paragon. How did that differ from the fight against the Clockwork?” PSYCHO-BUNNY: ‘The Clockwork are predictable. Cold. Mechanical. But the Vahzilok… they’re personal. Every one of their abominations was a stolen life, a perversion of what it means to be human. Standing against them isn’t just combat—it’s justice. Every blow I landed was for someone they tried to erase.’ [Cut back to Trish in studio, firm tone.] “While Paragon faces constant threats from villain organizations and hostile forces, heroes like Psycho-Bunny remind us that unity and resilience remain the city’s strongest weapons. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  13. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, PORT OAKES] TRISH TAKANAWA (on-scene, serious): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, reporting from Port Oakes, where the city’s criminal underworld has been thrown into upheaval. Earlier today, the meta-human known as The Squizzler launched a daring raid on a Rikti operations base, seizing classified blueprints for advanced Rikti armor. The assault, described by witnesses as swift and surgical, left local Rikti operatives scrambling and Arachnos authorities racing to contain the fallout. One Rikti technician, speaking under anonymity, told PNN, ‘It was chaos. They moved like shadows, taking files that even our best agents couldn’t protect.’ The implications for Port Oakes’ criminal factions are significant. Arachnos Captain Verax weighed in: ‘The theft of these blueprints could destabilize the balance of power among meta-human and criminal elements. Arachnos will pursue any individual or group attempting to exploit this technology.’ Local Vanguard leadership echoed the concerns, stressing the potential for a sudden surge in arms proliferation. Vanguard Lieutenant Lyra Draven stated, ‘Any gang or rogue operative obtaining Rikti armor designs represents an existential threat to Port Oakes’ safety. We must act decisively to prevent misuse.’ The Squizzler’s motives remain unclear. Some speculate the raid signals an attempt to challenge the city’s criminal hierarchy; others fear an emerging meta-human arms race. A still image from video surveillance shows The Squizzler in active combat with Rikti forces. At this time, it is unknown if The Squizzler is operating his own gang, which could destabilize the criminal networks here, or if this is a manifestation of his unknown powers. There will definitely be more to follow. From Port Oakes, I’m Trish Takanawa, reporting for Paragon News Network. This is Your News at 11.”
  14. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11, LIVE FROM PORT OAKES] TRISH TAKANAWA (on-scene, grim): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, reporting live from the Port Oakes Scrapyard District, where chaos has erupted once again. The elusive criminal known as The Spamburgler has struck again, this time targeting the notorious meta-human villain Sea Witch of the Scrapyarders. Witnesses describe a scene of utter destruction: twisted metal, overturned containers, and the pungent aroma of canned meat lingering in the air. One dockworker, still shaken, told PNN, ‘I saw him—he just stormed in, tossing Spam like grenades. Sea Witch tried to fight back, but… she just went down.’ Another passerby added, ‘It was like watching a cartoon turn real. He didn’t hesitate. She’s lying there… I don’t know if she’s alive.’ Arachnos representatives arrived on scene swiftly. Captain Verax, speaking to our reporters, said: ‘This incident underscores the dangerous unpredictability of this new criminal element. We are investigating whether The Spamburgler acted alone or under the direction of larger criminal interests. Port Oakes citizens should remain vigilant.’ The fate of the Sea Witch remains unconfirmed. However, the pattern is clear: The Spamburgler is moving quickly through Port Oakes’ criminal hierarchy, leaving both law enforcement and rival villains uncertain—and alarmed. From the Scrapyard District, I’m Trish Takanawa for Paragon News Network. This is Your News at 11.”
  15. TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, solemn): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, the underworld of Port Oakes reels from shocking developments: the feared Snake enforcer known only as The Night Killer has been brought down—by none other than the eccentric criminal newcomer, The Spamburgler. Eyewitnesses describe a violent confrontation in the alleyways near Pier Seven. A local barfly told PNN, ‘I heard this wet, smacking sound… then saw cans flying through the air like bullets. Next thing I know, Night Killer’s on the pavement, not moving.’ Another passerby, trembling, added, ‘The Spamburgler kept chanting about “meat reclaiming the night” as he hammered the Snake. It wasn’t a joke. It was terrifying.’ The status of The Night Killer remains unconfirmed—Arachnos authorities have yet to verify if he is dead or merely incapacitated. Captain Verax of Arachnos law enforcement gave this official statement: ‘We do not condone vigilante actions, particularly from costumed criminals. The Spamburgler’s assault represents an escalation of gang warfare that Arachnos will not tolerate. If The Night Killer has indeed fallen, it could trigger unpredictable reprisals from the Snakes.’ For now, Port Oakes is tense. The Spamburgler has risen from punchline to power player, and the streets wait anxiously to see who—if anyone—dares challenge him next. For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  16. [P.N.N. – YOUR NEWS AT 11] TRISH TAKANAWA (in studio, stern): “Good evening. I’m Trish Takanawa, Senior Meta-Human Affairs Correspondent. Tonight, we turn to Mercy Island, where citizens remain shaken after a daring daylight robbery at the Paragon Credit Exchange. The culprit? A bizarre new villain calling himself The Spamburgler. Witnesses describe the figure as a gaunt man in a striped disguise, his face hidden under the stereotypical villain mask, and his hands seemingly able to conjure torrents of greasy, canned meat. One terrified bank clerk told PNN, ‘He shouted something about “processed justice” before hurling entire hams of Spam at the security guards. They never stood a chance.’ Another eyewitness, a dockworker passing by, reported, ‘He kept muttering that the Mongoose was watching. Like he was stealing for somebody else. That made him scarier, somehow.’ Arachnos authorities responded quickly, deploying agents to cordon off the financial district. While The Spamburgler escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, Arachnos representative Captain Verax issued the following statement: ‘This city is not a buffet for costumed opportunists. Arachnos is investigating any alleged ties between The Spamburgler and known underworld figure, The Mongoose. If confirmed, this would represent a dangerous escalation in organized villainy on Mercy Island.’ Tonight, questions remain: is The Spamburgler a lone novelty criminal—or a pawn in a larger, more sinister game? For Paragon News Network, I’m Trish Takanawa. This is Your News at 11.”
  17. More like completely stole...😄
  18. Trish: This is Trish Takanawa, Senior Metahuman Affairs correspondent for Paragon News, reporting from Mercy Island, where a locally known metahuman, Fire Wire, has been reportedly killed during a bank heist. Joining me via phone is Rogue Island Police (RIP) Chief, Kyle “Cal” Calhoun. Chief, what do we know so far? Chief Calhoun: Trish, all evidence points to a relative newcomer to Mercy as the killer, who goes by the name "Squizzler". Trish: Do you know why this...Squizzler would kill Fire Wire? Chief Calhoun: Evidence suggests that they were partners in the heist, but Fire Wire was eliminated to claim his share. Trish: How can we be certain of this? Chief Calhoun: Several Bank employees have confirmed this. Trish: Do you have any idea as to Squizzlers whereabouts, or what abilities he may have. Chief Calhoun: As a newbie to the area, he could be anywhere. We advise the public to keep an eye out for him. Video footage secured from the bank shows him dressed in a green suit and bowler. Do not approach him. As a metahuman, assume he's extremely dangerous. Given the video footage, we assess he is a psychic of some power. Observe and report. Let us handle him Trish: Thank you Chief. Chief Calhoun: Anytime, Trish. Trish: Joining me now, on scene is Rock Hammer. Some of you may remember a report I did on him some time ago. How are you tonight, Mr. Hammer? Rock Hammer: It's Rock, Trish. And well. You? Trish: Also well...Rock. What can you tell us about this event, and how you're involved? Rock Hammer: Well, for one, ol' Cal ain't bein' square with ya. Trish: In what way? Rock Hammer: Fire Wire wasn't here to rob no bank. Rumor has it, he works with Arachnos and RIP to set up newbies on big payout jobs and bust 'em in the commission. Trish: To what end? Rock Hammer: To get reward money. As for myself, I was hired to provide some extra security during tonight's money transfer. This bank has a history of gettin' knocked over, so security has been pretty tight. All the local crews know it's not worth the effort, especially with yours truly here beefin' up the rent-a-cops. But I hear he's played this trick all over Mercy. Frankly, I'm surprised the little weasel hasn't been iced before now. Looks like he found a mark that didn't like bein' a mark. If you ask me, Squizzler did the Isles a favor. Trish: Do you have any information on this Squizzler character? Rock Hammer: Nah, never heard of him, but with a name like that, he's either a dork, or a stone-cold killer. Givin' that he made Fire start the room temperature challenge, I'd say the latter. Trish: Thank you, Rock. You heard it here, folks. Squizzler, new menace to the Isles and Paragon, or blessing in disguise? Only time will tell. I'm Trish Takanawa, Paragon News.
  19. Your News at 11, G-cell Heist Gone Bad, 19Mar24 Trish: This is Trish Takanawa, Senior Metahuman Affairs correspondent for Paragon News, reporting from Independence Port. I'm with relative newcomer, Blitz, recent recruit for the neophyte Super Group, The Justice Redeamers. Blitz, word has it that you recently arrested a group of Outcasts in the Liberty Quay area. Blitz: That I did, Trish. I received a tip that a group of them were trying to lift a shipment of G-cells from a government storage facility. Trish: G-cells? Care to elaborate for our viewers? Blitz: Sure. G-cells are from one of the giant monsters the late hero Talos fought back in the 1960s. No one has been able to unlock their genetic secrets and control the effect of the experiments since, but science continues to try. Some think it's the key to making metahumans, made to order. That's why the government has them on strict lockdown. Trish: So, in a sense a stable super soldier formula without the mutational effects of Superadine. Blitz: Exactly. The Trolls, along with the Skulls and the Family control the trade of "Supes". As you know, they're known as the Superadine Connection and are in direct competition with the Outcasts, along with the Hellions and the Warriors. Trish: Is there any evidence the Outcasts are trying to use any drugs created with G-cells to build their own cadre of metahumans? It's well-known Trolls gain super strength and resistance due to Supes mutation. Blitz: No evidence at this time, but I can't rule that possibility out. The Trolls and Outcasts have been slugging it out pretty heavy in the area lately. I can see the Outcasts looking for any advantage available. Trish: Do you have any information on whether the Outcasts were acting for the gang, or at the behest of an outside party? Blitz: Not at this time. At this point in the investigation, any possibility is as valid as the next. Trish: Thank you, Blitz. There you have it folks. Is Paragon about to see a spike in superhuman criminals or a new designer drug fueling yet another drug war? We'll keep you updated as new information comes in. This has been Trish Takanawa reporting. Back to you, Bob.
  20. I'd also like to see server specific forums. Other games, including CoX, got me to expect them and so them as part of the community aspect.
  21. I'm the guy in red in the middle back. One of my alts.
  22. Blitzkreiger, only level 50 I had. NRG/NRG blaster. I had a lot of other Virtue toons as well. Last toon I made was a Legacy character named Kid Extra II, a descendant of a character from Pin-Up Girl's backstory. Got to meet her, her husband she met in-game and Ascendant once for a very large group photo. I'll have to see if i can track that down.
  23. I had a stone/stone villain. I don't think he got over level 25, but he was a tough customer.
  24. VirtueVerse is down last I heard. I used to visit it pretty regularly back in the day. I only had one toon on there, but his page was only about 75% complete.
