I turned on the ping and fps tracker. I learned that with a large group my fps still stayed between 50-80fps but my ping stretched from 230 to above 3000ping... it was brutal

Whenever I run City of Heroes on my laptop I get random moments of lag. Sometimes to the point that I d/c. For example, when I do DFB I don’t lag until I get to the 2nd map. At that point I’m probably running like 4fps.. I tried switching all the settings to minimum but I still have problems.. could it be my internet? Or my laptop?
