One thing I've noticed about Opportunity is that it says that only ONE opportunity can be active at a time..  That is not entirely true.  While using Water Blast power set.    When both the Aqua Blast (Offensive) and Hydro Blast (Defensive) are available to fire off, When I fire off the Defensive first (longer cast time) and click the Offensive as fast as possible while the Hydro is still casting both land at the same time and I get both OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE BUFFS at the same time.  I've done it multiple times.  Some powers may be able to do it besides Water Blast but I haven't tried them all.  I do know that I have not been able to do it with Fire.

     

    That sounds pretty cool :)

  2. Heya folks,

     

    I've started thinking of a Staff poking Bio armor brutus. I've placed the skills in the order i think would work but for the bubbles i could realy need some help here, how many bubbles go where and what to slot with.

     

    I like 2 weeks game time into the game and i know there are some solid experts out here that could maybe assist me with my little project  ::)

  3. You might want to consider taking Proton armor at 4 and delay combat jumping until much later.  Ninja run is a great almost travel power, and you start running into energy and neg energy damage pretty early, also,  the benefit from CJ defense isn't stacking with anything so the benefit is minimal.

    Rearanged some skills as per advice, but now my question is, is there somthing to fill out or better instead of Combat Jumping then? Like Tactics maybe?

  4. Any ideas on this build, i have not placed any power slots as very new to the game and realy dont know anything about min/max yet, but looking at the skills and the defence it brings it could work out maybe?

    I might be over my head here and have no clue on what i'm doing but i picked up my ideas from some offensive radio build and som info from builds using radio armor and slapped them together in a blender and this is what came out ::)

  5. Hi all  :)

     

    New player here,

    I have never played CoH before but got the link on discord to check it out, so far i'm having a great time but hot darn its confusing :)

    Anyways i heard scrappers are a good place to start for newb so i've taking but rerolling alot of scrappers trying to figure out whats what, reading reddit posts and checked discord.

     

    I have no idea what IO's and all the abbreviations means but i downloaded Pines to read up on some skills, and i think i came up with an ok plan. I skipped Shadow Maul as i've seen alot of people sayint to stay away from that skill.

     

    Any advice or input would be greatly appriciated.
