My main is Psi blaster, and honestly, zero issue killing anything in the game. Even the dreaded robots. Just pick a secondary with a couple attacks you can work in as backup.
Even then, everytime I once shot a bot I am reminded how I was told they would be hard.

Thanks for the input! I have no idea when I accidentally slotted that glad out. Good catch. I used some
of your folks Ideas to tweak around some more. I’ve always known I was over slotting but it was, where can I trim down. Both of you gave me great ideas and I moved some sets around. Like the set in ki push was just to send guys into orbit for fun, but I can use better sets. And I am moving procs around. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond!

Hey folks, I have been working on this build and its easily one of the most fun builds I have ever played. I was wondering if any of the true mids masters and/or experts or maybe someone who has blapped longer than me (this is the first blaster I have made I just, love), can take a look and help me figure out what I can do to push this up a notch. I would like to proc an attack (seen some crazy numbers testing procs in like storm kick) but I am way too reliant on my sets to be any sort of survivable. I feel like this one is close, but I am probably missing something obvious. Anyway here is the build! Thanks for any help or ideas!

Hello folks, I have come back pretty hard recently, I have been in and out over the past couple years, and after my SG died off, I was just not that motivated. A few people on my global are still around, but I've mostly been duoing with a buddy. However, I am an avid IC player, my roleplaying style is more humorous TTRPG style, for me this is just one big world to be in and build stories with friends. I have dozens of characters, and don't mind building characters to fit a theme, love playing in designed groups, and would love doing TFs and would love to be able to do hardmode with an active SG. In the past I mainly played a Brute named Bolshevik, we had a great run with folks back in 2019/2020 and made some great stories, but he's semi-retired in Aruba, so I am looking for an active group to throw my lot in with. I've run some great IC arc with folks since being back, the game feels alive and well after the new influx and its really got me pumped. I've run 3-4 guys to 50 in the last month just messing around, but I find it harder than it used to be to find folks to stick with, so figured I would come out here and just say hello. I am mostly a traditional, golden age player, usually with some humorous twist. I cannot be serious in real life, so I am never going to be a great fit for dark drama or serious arcs, unless you need comedic relief. If you see a stupid character taking himself way too seriously for his concept, its probably me. Cheers!
Also quick edit: I was in tons of channels where people planned stuff and talked and they are all dead. Everlasting TFs the only one I see used. Are there any hot channels for folks on the server to talk and hang out, outside the default?

Let’s drag this out of the way back machine. Did you ever make any changes based on the rework of dark on this guy? I have a level 50 dark/dark I never did much with, was thinking I might see how I can fix him because frankly he was always a bit underwhelming, and I found your thread where you really loved your guy.

Are you talking AT or powersets? The most balanced powerset that comes to mind is Willpower Armor. Does great, the only struggle it has is trying to overclock it to meet uber standards. Which argues for it being balanced
Balanced Archetypes? Is that possible? All have some deficiencies depending on content and most can be overclocked and a used. Given the right powersets and build. I could point out some of my least favorite Archetypes. But I would say Brutes, on whole, are the most balanced Archetype if I had to choose just one. Very solid. Not great damage while soling, because you are almost always at the beginning of a fight. But during team battles when Fury is pegged they do very well.
I think a lot of times people focus on the power of a combo or how good it can be end game, but some AT/powers just play better start to finish (like my claws example, I think claws scrappers never feel bad, always have fun buttons to press, but I’ve had some tank builds that go long stretches using brawl and prestige attacks and it feels janky)
just was curious what other folks find enjoyable and powerful feeling from 1-50 vs l33t 50 Builds.

I was playing with some buddies who are not old hand COH players and it brought up some interesting discussions on ATs/powersets. Obviously all things are not created equal, though every thing is viable, some of it just blooms late. Some guys picked some pretty bad late bloom combos and decided to reroll and that got us talking. So what do you guys think the most even power set/AT to level is?
I feel like a lot of dominator (not plants/ seeds is just broken silly), tank, controller builds peak late maybe? For my money it would have to be claws/Sr scrapper. Claws gets a nice satisfying attack chain by like 18. In my experience all defenses feel meh till late anyway, but SR can cap def pretty early as I remember. Staff/ scrappers and stalkers feel satisfying, though I am always unsure what secondary, WP is super fire and forget passive but again think most defenses on offensive are late blooming (into 30s) before I really notice them anyway. Stalker stealth may be the lowest level, feels good from the start power. I will also say in a team, no defender I have ever rolled felt useless, until later when buffs or heals seem redundant.
let’s hear other people’s thoughts on maybe the best leveling AT/power sets, things there feel good from 1-50 vs just big bad 50 builds.

There is only one answer. Is SS/SD Brute. The punching, the crunching and the stomping. This is so fun, it make many other thing hard to play.

I was another one, I asked on Discord, they said they were waiting on folks to respond to the forums messages they sent, I think?
