  1. as far as I know there is only one set that converts knockback to knockdown and that is overwhelming force, which as luck would have it makes it so that only one power in your entire set can get it, do to the unique-ability of the thing. so for the people who have tons of knockback (I'm looking at you, energy blast!) and want to say, run with any close combat ATs, like, oh I dunno, Tanks, Brutes, Stalkers, or Scrappers, you are all of a sudden relegated to one attack (ignoring prestige powers) or be subject to lots of passive aggression (or straight up nerd rage) from their teammates. Also it costs lots of inf or merits for those who don't want to do the event. my suggestion is to make either a one off enhancement that does what OF: KB->KD does and have it be an out of set enhancement (that makes it so people have to think about their builds harder, deciding what sets they want to interrupt or what have you) or make a set that has KB->KD as a set bonus (either tier 5 or tier 6) with having only one enhancement be unique (for tier 5) or make it so that none of the set is unique (for tier 6). It introduces a lot more manipulation and thinking that people have to do in order to manage builds, and also makes a lot more KB focused sets be open for close combat support. (easy close combat support for noobs, not talking to all the people who trained themselves to work knockback into a teamable state, good job you all!)
  2. A few other Ideas I will mention, Feel free to comment or ignore, what have you: -I think having wings that pop in/out once you hit fly would be neat. like an angel or something is hiding their angel-ness and only when they take to the skies do their feathery friends make an appearance (oooh, auras that affect wings, glowing or burning wings would be neat, only turn on when flying, or something. could just have glowing angel wings be an option, I dunno.) like the rocket boots, only have effects (read: wings) kick in with the power -sheathed weapons. Where in the name of Hero 1 do all of these weaponized heroes pull their broadsword/rifle/giant beat stick from? I don't think temp powers need to be a factor (where would you hide a Warburg U-135?) but the pistol heroes could get holsters where their pistols hang out in when they are not in combat. There are some textures already there, the ninjas in the mastermind sets get their swords on their backs and stuff, so why not heroes/villains? -asymmetrical costumes. I don't know how many times I have wished I could plunk only one of the two shoulderpads on my character of some random costume piece. Sure there are some pieces like the big skull or the gladiator shoulderpieces, but what about people who want organic armor on one hand and roman vambraces on the other? what if you just want one REALLY big gauntlet on one hand? (Totally not referencing the big purple guy here). I think it would be cool to have the option to turn on targeted/ asymmetrical costume building. What do you guys think?
  3. I Almost like the robotic arm choices we get in Icon right now, I just have a few things to mention/slightly complain about: Why do we only get the right arm? I mean, presumably for every hero who get's their right arm amputated, there should be a hero who get's their left arm chomped/melted/burned/removed via various insundry methods and/or reasons. So why to we get only the right arm mechanized? To be completely fair, the shoulders are also a possibility, but that's not my point right now. (also I don't think we can have both arms robotic-ified at the same time) In addition, I would like to have the option of having a robotic arm with all the additional options of the top body types, not just "tight". Why can they not have a jacket or something on, with just their robot arm exposed? I personally think it would be cool to have a trench coat cyborg running around with a katana for almost no reason. Jackets, Monstrous, Armored, trench coats, togas, all of these are only for heroes who have both of their arms. Role-play heavy (or even light) characters who have missing limbs brought back through science/magic or technology have a limited amount of costume workarounds.
  4. I think having close combat possibilities for defenders would be interesting, like dual blades/empathy (or rather empathy/dual blades), my motivation is mainly for RP purposes, but thinking about it, don't defenders have their auto class power do good things for them solo anyways? (damage+defense increases for self) additionally having a healer already on the front lines could help keep some tankers and brutes up to snuff instead of hit-and-run tactics which are often hard to pull off in confined spaces already. granted with poor party teamups and large but ultimately unsustainable groups would be a weakness, but that is true for normal teams right now anyways, perhaps introducing a power pool focused on defense toggles, or introducing defense toggles into close combat sets for the defenders would be a plan, but honestly I think it's not super needed, just be intelligent about your build choices and/or team choices. what do you guys think?
  5. Additionally, I saved the costume I made in the creator to my folder, but the moment I tried to load it, it says that the pistols are causing my costume to not be loadable, and when I hit the "fix" it changes my weapons to *gasp* surprise! semi-auto. Which is odd, because I could select the Equalizers AGAIN, save off my costume AGAIN, and load it back up AGAIN, and lo and behold, it's having a weapons conflict, all in the same icon session.
  6. Well, First time posting a bug, but here goes: on my dual pistols/willpower sentinel I set up my costumes, but the moment I zoned I noticed that my weapons were not the "Dalton Equalizers" I had set up to be my weapons. After going to the costumer and changing them back (I was no longer below 10 so this started costing a lot of inf for a lowbie) and no matter how many times I tried, my character kept switching back to the semi-auto default pistols in the colors I had set up, and every time I tried to fix it, it counted as me buying the pieces again. after about 15k (twice the amount of inf I had before I started trying to figure out what went wrong, had to sell all my enhancements I had picked up). Granted this is not a whole big deal, I ended up switching to Sidereal Sidearms, which seemed to fix the issue, but when I got on today, my weapons were invisible and when I went to the costumer (leveler, but I don't see how that matters) it showed my character as having invisible pistols, but in the menu I had the default semi-autos in black and white, only they wanted me to pay for them. I backed out of the creator, and my Sidereals came back, but this costume issue is starting to cost more influence than it should (21 now, and it is costing 6.8K to do it once, so this is getting ridiculous) anyone else having this problem?
