In your updated build, Lich is showing the Touch of the Nictus proc in slot 5; this is an Accurate Healing set, and the power doesn't take that set when I try to slot it in game. Is Mids allowing invalid slotting now? If so, it should be reported as a bug.
Good to know, I hadn't gotten that far on my character yet. I will probably work towards the unbreakable restraint proc, with whatever is cheapest until I can afford that.

Is Brine's -MaxHP and -Resistance not providing (enough of a) force multiplier effect? I can see why as a single-target power it may not be optimal for clearing large spawns, but I would think that against harder targets it would certainly help (modulo purple triangles), if only for the aggro-grabbing potential.
I think the consensus was the -MaxHP wasn't really worth it, and there are other options for -Res if your build is tight.

I've tried both Power Transfer and the Performance Shifter +END proc and I didn't see either proc firing outside of the initial cast with the combat log open.
Also seeing the same for Perf Shifter. I do see it proc often with lots of targets, but combat log indicates that end is going to the targets of the bubble, which could still be nice, just not what I expected. Will have to see how the build plays out and if I'll keep it in bubble or not.

You don't really need Hasten, but it does help. You could easily fit back in SJ in there if you'd like, swapping it for Hasten, and then throw the extra slot somewhere else. I do think Tactics is a must though.
Ok, think I got just about everything. Missing out on about 3% accuracy against +4s, but think I should be alright. Think this is the build I'll work towards unless anyone comes in with something groundbreaking. Thanks again to everyone for all the helpful suggestions.

Here, messed around a bit after dinner. 45% S/L, 55% E, 44% NE/R for +DEF. Stole plenty from +RES bonuses, but see my point above, but left you decent +RES for S/L/E/N. High recharge, Net+ END, plenty of +ToHit and decent +Accuracy. Two downsides....no real travel power, but P2W vendor makes that not a big deal these days, and I had to omit Leviathan, which ticks me off but everything is a tradeoff. Think I'd go with Destiny>Clarion for mezz protection, so be prepared for that prior to endgame, and maybe pick up some of the Radial stuff for T4's to pump +DEF a bit to compensate. Agility Radial T4 will take you to 50+ S/L/E and 45+ NE/R for +DEF.
One thing I learned about Necro after the last patch is you don't need to fully slot your attacks. They are there more to get you the extra henchmen than to do damage themselves, since your damage is pretty pathetic even with procs.
Theorycrafting, but I have a lvl 40 Necro/Marine ready to be respecced so I'll try that tonight and see how this plays.

Thanks, looks pretty good. I have blinders on sometimes. I am always looking at positional defense and not thinking about typed.
Going to have to integrate a lot of these changes into my build, maybe see if I can keep the travel power.

I appreciate the suggestions. Toroidal Bubble is right at the edge of diminishing returns for resistance, and adding another slot gains very little. I replaced shoal rush with whitecap, and brine, which was an afterthought, with tactics. I shifted a couple of sets around and it is a little better, but still would like to see my defense numbers be a little bit higher. It feels like I should be able to drop some of my S/L res to gain that, but I haven't had much luck finding what I could change to do so.
Here's an updated build link if anyone has further suggestions

Played around with a build similar to this during the beta, and it did alright, but I know I'm not great at creating builds and I'm sure I'm missing out on some survivability and damage. Hoping some of the experts here might have ideas on how I can shore up this build.
Thanks.

The best case is knowing not only when, but also how to use Dimension Shift in ways that a team is unlikely to recognize that you’re even using the power until a scenario arises that it becomes apparent your application of its function is literally saving them.
Having said that, and I cannot stress then enough, there are still outlier cases where “this might be the best time” still turns into someone getting frustrated for one reason or another for lack of understanding it’s mechanics (or just knee-jerking).
Keep these things in mind about Dimension Shift:
Prime situations in my mind: enclosed spaces where you have been ambushed and will continue to get further ambushed, but are unable to retreat/proceed. Don’t use it on the incoming spawn, use it on your team and envelop them to act as a shield from outside damage. A team crunched together will often never notice an activated Shift since they’ll be happily swinging away at whatever’s there trapped with them.
Wormhole is another super attractive way to cluster bomb groups together, we all know this, but what’s cool is that you can Wormhole into an active Dimension Shift, and the Shift doesn’t have a mob cap, so it’ll force immobilize everything you throw inside it.
Will you be using the power constantly? No, but you have to prioritize unique ways to take advantage of what it can do. I take Force Bubble on my Fire/FF, but do I have it running 24/7? Haha, no, but there are some pretty fun tricks with that power to keep it around for.
This is essentially how I try to use it. I'm not using it every spawn, or even every team, and look for the best ways to use it like with wormhole or an ambush. But sounds like there is no removing the stigma that it is a bad power, at least in pugs, and I should just shelve it to avoid the grief.
-
Maybe if I used it out of nowhere but I give warning when I join groups and info on the power. And I think an unresistable immobilize is great in a lot of situations.
-
I love my grav troller, but I hate playing him because of all the grief I get from other players. Between players that don't know about the changes and think they can't attack at all, or ranged players who don't want to take a step forward (even if they're in melee range 80% of the time anyhow) all I hear about is how bad the power is and that I'm an awful person for using it. I try educating those that are confused about the power, but that rarely seems to change opinions. How can we remove the stigma associated with this power?

Good suggestion. Since I use the free camera rotate way more than I do the right click menu, is it possible to remap the right click menus to another button?
-
For the last couple of months I have been having issues with my right mouse button in game. When I try to move camera I often have it pop up the right click menu on teammates and enemies. This has lead to me accidentally kicking teammates, adding them to ignore, etc. I originally thought it was my mouse failing, but after testing in other games, I am unable to reproduce the issue. I asked in games today if others had experienced this and at least one other has seen it. It seems that the game does not want to maintain the hold on right click. Any suggestions on improving this? I really want to stop being the accidental jerk who kicked a teammate for no reason.
Thanks.

Why skip Burn?
I skipped burn because I want to be at range as much as possible.
Why skip Suppressive Fire? That does good damage on a Sentinel.
I personally don't see the reason to take Dual Wield other than it looks awesome. Which if it's for that reason and you can fit it in, I'd say do so.
Executioner's Shot is a level 18 grab imo.
I took Dual Wield because its the defensive opportunity attack and I think I read that Executioner's outperforms Suppressive when ammunition is used, so chose it over Suppressive as the other single target attack.
Wanted weave early, though looking at it, does make sense to take it at 18 and push the fighting pool down.
I'd give up Warmth myself.
You did slot up Healing Flames at all. That's your self heal.
I agree that healing flames is underslotted. Though I figured between it, cauterizing and warmth healing would be pretty well covered.

I've seen a couple posts talking about DP/Fire, but no builds. Took a shot at a build, but hoping some of the experts here can help me clean it up a bit.
Thanks.
