For years, I have been running my old machine (windows 7.... 32-bit) when playing CoH. All FX and sounds in game work perfectly, and still do if I switch back to the old machine, however with my new PC (windows10...64-bit) I have noticed that certain sounds are gone in the game when I play. the things I notice most are: 1)- I no longer hear any sounds when I am in "chat"..no bells when someone sends me a private tell, and no clicking noise when I type a chat message in-game. and .. 2)- I cannot hear any footsteps when I run, or jump, no matter what surface I am landing on..no Thuds or booms if I land on a submarine or metal flooring, no squish squish if I run through grass, No clip clop when i run on pavement. I hear no foot stomps, from myself or from villains, but all other sounds in-game are present, beeps from patrol phones I hear, powers activating are heard, everything else seems to be present, except ..chat functions and running noise FX. What gives????

IF i have a global friend and send him a message and I get a reply that John Doe is ignoring you...how does that happen and how can it be fixed? I have searched and searched and I cant figure out how to ignore someone in my SG lol. and i am not a newb but the guy ignoring me is a newb, so its hard to mentor when he is ignoring me....highly doubt its intentional, if so i will deal with that accordingly lol but I really think it was an accident and i would like to know how to fix it...
