Heya, it's been a very long while since I played CoH and I was thinking about giving Tanker a shot. Thing is I don't know how to efficiently build it for 1-50 leveling process - I've only played Corruptor and some low lvl dps alts so my knowledge about everything else is limited. And to be honest I forgot a lot of stuff 🙂 I've read several topics here already and I think know what I want more or less: 1. Solo everything story-related plus dungeons if I'll need them for story arcs. 2. Build that will allow me to tackle something harder like soloing AVs/GMs in the distant future and not feel like I've picked power set that is simply too weak for this challenge. 3. Safe AFK farm when I'm feeling like turning my brain off for one day. 4. I intend to play with groups very rarely and prefer to just go at my own, slow pace solo through dungeons/bosses. Like I've said I've read few topics here about power sets and builds and I was mostly thinking about picking Bio, Rad or WP Primary and EM, MA, Rad or Staff Secondary. Bio/EM interests me the most but before I fully commit I thought that I'll ask here just to be 100% sure. 1. Which option would be the most stress-free and comfy in the long run? And still completely self-sufficient if I wanna solo something harder? 2. I have some crafted lvl 20-25 general purpose IOs on some of my alts (damage, endurance reduction, recharge, accuracy etc) but I have no idea how to slot Tanker properly with Enhancements for leveling. Do I need some defensive IOs just in case or will pure dps IOs be enough to keep me alive from 1 to 50 and clear dungeons/bosses during leveling process? 3. Build doesn't have to be super-meta. I'm just looking for something safe and comfy. I do not intend to play cutting-edge large scale hardcore group content. 4. At lvl 50 I will definately respec and try and learn from a proper endgame guide here on forums. My questions are mostly about how not to handicap myself for leveling process 🙂
