Frequent Game Crashes

Hi,

Ever since the switch to 64-bit, I have been having an annoying problem. Once I load the game client, if I minimize the window at all, the screen freezes. I can still hear game activity, and to anyone who I am teaming with, it appears I am still logged in. I can even chat with people, but I can't see what I am typing and I can't see any replies because it is as if in the moment I minimize, the game takes a screenshot and displays that image rather than continuing to render the game activity. The only solution has been to close the client and reload from Tequila. /unloadgfx does not solve the problem. I am getting more skilled at switching windows without minimizing, but sometimes I accidently reduce the window out of habit and it is just disruptive. And it is such a shame because the 64-bit client really does run smoother and nicer on my machine.

 

I am running a 2019 Acer Laptop with a nVidia GeForce GTX 1660 video card and Windows 10 with all the recent updates. I have checked my graphics drivers are up to date as well.
