Dark vs Ice

Hi.

Been soloing a ice fire defender lately.

Just did positrons TF by my self.

Ice is great for single target debuffing so far.

How would it compare to dark later when facing AV's?

Depends on the level of global recharge you have.

 

At high levels, Ice is in the running to be one of the best debuffers in the game. That's going to require heavy (and expensive) IO slotting though. Without that it'll still be good but there'll be meaningful downtime when AVs you worry about in the late game won't be debuffed which can vary from not a big deal to a real pain

 

Dark on the other hand can get by with a lot less Recharge and remains competitive throughout the life of the game.

 

Ultimately though, both are amazing sets and can easily earn their place on any team.

What can I say? i will try putting it simple: Ice is great, Dark is amazing. That's basically the difference

They do different things. Ice will make your team more durable, and help them melt AV/GM. Dark will make your team nigh unkillable, but even if it can help with the -res/-regen for av/gm killing, it does not reach ice levels
