Psy/Dev/Mace - build/slotting help request

I'm still kind of new to the whole building thing, but I did my best to plan out a respec for my nearly 50 Psy/Dev that I've fallen in love with lately.

 

I am hoping to avoid her being too squishy, so after reading around in the forums a little I'm dropping the munitions epic in favor of scorpion shield (mace mastery). (Apparently the body armor is rubbish and the LRM is nothing to write home about.)

 

Here is what I have so far, but despite including some winter sets and doing the usual fighting pool thing I am struggling to get her defense to a respectable level.

 

If anyone has the time to give it a look and suggest some changes - any changes, defense related or otherwise - I'd really appreciate it.
