Sound when game is in background?

I play in borderless full screen, whenever I click on a window outside of game the sound mutes.  Most games have this as a toggleable setting, I can't find it anywhere.  Is it available or is there no way to have audio when the game doesn't have focus?

Bump because I also would like this to be in the options. Even if it was just a slash command it would be fine. Like "/stopinactivedisplay 1" but for audio

 

"/stopbackgroundaudio 0" or something would be awesome
