City Of Villains set up

How do is launch the game as the CoV theme. it used to be that you added  ' -cov '. to the target line in the shortcut.  that does not work now

i Found what i was looking for. here is how i got coh to load with the red cov theme

 

Steps to Launch "City of Heroes" with "City of Villains" Settings

1. Open the Launcher:

   • Start the "City of Heroes" launcher as you normally would.

2. Access Settings:

   • Look for a gear icon (gearbox) at the top of the launcher window and click on it to open the settings menu.

3. Navigate to Homecoming Settings:

   • In the settings menu, you will see several tabs: General Setup, Advanced Settings, and Homecoming.
   • Click on the Homecoming tab.

4. Add Launch Parameters:

   • Scroll down to the bottom of the Homecoming settings.
   • You will find a field for extra launch parameters.
   • In this field, add -cov (without the quotes).

5. Save and Apply Settings:

   • Save your changes and close the settings menu.

6. Launch the Game:

   • Start the game using the launcher. It will now load with the "City of Villains" settings, including the red loading screen.

By following these steps, you can easily switch your game to "City of Villains" mode for an enhanced villainous experience. Enjoy your adventures!

Nice, but this does not affect the Character Creation. Some odd behavior can be observed when you come back from there.
