Oil slick is now affected by enemies' buffs

So I'm taking on a band of Nemesis troops and, of course, they start to use vengeance. Lo and behold, I now have less than a thirty percent chance to hit MY oil slick!  That's insane... it's not an enemy. 

 

I think I heard somewhere recently that Twilight Grasp can now trigger from oil slick. I guess the game is reading it as an enemy now. It was hard enough to hit it with a taser, if it's going to be shielded via enemy buffs, I might have to roll a tank (Heaven forbid)
