#31899 Dr. Aeon and the Wrath of Achilles!

An outing with my supergroup on Everlasting reminded me that I've got an AE arc that is a crowd-pleaser but hasn't seen much love. #31899, "Dr. Aeon and the Wrath of Achilles," may not have exactly qualified for the History competition, but it's a jaunt into mythology that can be a lot of fun.

 

When Dr. Aeon and Arachnos kidnap a classics professor from Paragon U., an Ouroboros Mender detects an anomaly forming in the timeline. Dr. A is interfering in the Trojan War, and amid battles of heroes and gods, your team of heroes will discover his evil plot... and team up with Greek and Trojan heroes alike.

 

5 missions, assumes a hero or vigilante POV, EBs are mostly smash/lethal damage and resistances focus around S/L as well. Many elite bosses, but solo-friendly in the sense that you can rescue allies and they can do the heavy lifting if needed.

 

Plus a few easter egg references for mythology nerds!

[Forager]

The Roman and Greek customs were awesome. You put a lot of work into populating those enemy groups. They integrate into the game so well that they didn't immediately stick out as customs. The river god AV was badass.

 

The Stygian Soldiers were... interesting looking lol. I love that there was a story-based reason for them being bosses. They made the last AV fight pretty tricky. I had to combat TP all over.
