Electric "blapper lite" attack chain advice

Good day all. Per my previous post, Mal Bot, my Electric/Traps is live and at Level 7. What a blast, so far, but I would like some advice from others who have used Electric/

 

Right now, it's fun to get close enough to toss Caltrops which keeps groups clustered, but they turn and try to (slowly) run out of the area. While I'm there, I nudge closer and fire off Short Circuit, then before someone can take a swing at me, back out far enough to shoot off Ball Lightning. This alone has cleared small groups, but typically, I'll back out and start picking off the stronger enemies first from range with Lightning Bolt, Charged Bolts, and the two prestige ranged weapons (feels like cheating). I've found myself in some hairy situations, but just decided to test myself surrounded by a group of four reds in the street, and it was easy peasy.

 

First question: is this a similar effective low-level attack chain you've used, and do you continue this "blapper lite" style into mid/late game? It doesn't feel like it would be entirely safe against tougher enemies, if I get held, etc.

 

Second, though it's too early to start serious enhancement yet, what have you found to be best? Accuracy/Damage? Accuracy/EndMod? Recharge/Endmod? 

 

It's super fun so far (but I say that about my 60 other characters at this stage). Feels like this one could go the distance if I can remain survivable.

In a related thread, I see that people don't think the EndMod is worth it. So slot for Accuracy/Damage/Recharge? Is EndRed necessary, because I don't see much End return to me - not enough, anyway, for me to not run out of End myself (already). That's concerning.
