rosquetipa Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Hey there. This is definitely similar to some of the other reports I've seen on the -1 difficulty being currently bugged, but this seemed distinct enough to warrant its own topic just because of this very specific behavior that I haven't seen other people mention, at least not explicitly. When you set a mission to X-level maximum/minimum in AE, it will lock enemies to that level, and your difficulty settings will be applied inversely to your character's level instead. Going in a LV 25-25 AE mission at +0 sets you at level 25. Going in at +3 sets you to level 22 instead, while keeping enemy levels at 25 to preserve the difficulty difference. But when you set your difficulty to -1, you go in at level 25, not 26. This breaks some previous functionality of AE missions, such as part 5 of this lovely and informative guide I suspect this behavior might apply to other, similar situations involving level adjustments, but I'm bringing it up now since I've found it directly impacting the AE mission I'm currently working on which involves playing at very low level ranges so I wanted to be sure people were aware of it. Thank you for your time!
