  1. This is the build I have so far... I'm not good at building blasters... though as I said I'm having a lot of fun with this one and I don't really feel like it needs to be super optimized. I'm not going to solo farm and when you are on a team you tend to have any gaps filled. I'm just hoping someone sees some missed opportunities to pack a little bit more in. Also Incarnate help would be nice. What alpha works the best for blasters?

  2. Can anyone post a build for this... or just general advice if anything.

     

    Having a hard time figuring out what to skip/willing to give up. so far i've got frost breath...maybe ice bolt. Everything else seems too good or at least is just too much fun/cool looking.

     

     

     

     

     

  3. Yeah. Lifegiving Spores Endurance boost is not a recovery boost. It can't be compared to recovery numbers. It gives you 1 endurance every 4 seconds, which is equivalent to half the effect of Stamina, unslotted. It's also literally free, even unslotted, as long as you stand in it, as it gives you back exactly as much endurance as it costs to run the toggle.

     

    Properly slotted, it gives 2% every 4 seconds, which is .5 end per second, and basically like having a second Stamina power for everyone who stands in it.

     

    On top of that, if you were to frankenslot it for heal and endurance mod (And end reduction) you can have it doing that 2 end every 4 seconds, and also healing 56 hp, and costing so little you're gaining significant endurance from it, as well as providing endurance for your pets and teammates.

     

    And sure, the heal isn't huge, but it's healing you don't have to think about. I've seen it make a huge difference in tough, drawn out fights, and I'd never skip it.

     

     

    Rebirth and Entangling Aura are the only skippable powers, and even they're not bad, they're just not absolutely needed. Everything else I'd class as essential, do not skip under any circumstances.

     

    You know what, I read the delay which is listed in pines as 1.5 and for some reason I equated that to the tick rate...

  4. /nature seems strong so far

    It has absorbs. ground place heal. AOE heal,  and some other tools I can’t remember off the top of my head.

     

    -dam -tohit -regen -res +dam +res +regen +tohit, Heal, HoT, Absorb and +end.

    Also its unique looking, all the other sets are various glowie blobs of light with different particle effects. With this you can be like a... forest or a golf course or something. So, it's got that going for it... *queue Kenny Loggins*

     

    I think for general purpose support its pretty great. Doesn't really seem to outshine any other sets specifically, but would be a welcome addition to any team looking to pick up some heals and debuffs. It seems to pair well with necro to stack -tohit and heals. Could see thugs and bots being pretty good with it too.

     

    That said, I wish it has some +recharge but that may be what would make it OP.

    Ill have to test it but based on how i read the power and what pines is showing... it Heals you blue bar... by 1% so if you have 100 endurance max then you get 1 endurance every second and a half before slotting or .66 if i can do math. Consider base recovery is 1.6 per sec and goes up to 2 with unslotted stamina .66 a sec is nice. Also and this is just me speculating but maybe someone can confirm it makes anyone standing in the patch less susceptible to -rec debuffs since its not actually recovery.

  6. Yep definitely just your level. You should bring purples with you. just a tray of them and pop 1 or 2 before a fight. once you hit 22 and get SOs and can pick up tough/weave you will feel pretty unstoppable.

  8. There was that time that the SG my cousin and I ran merged with a bigger SG called StrykeForce on champion server. But then shortly after merging my cousin went out of state due to a death in the family and he was removed from the SG and replaced by someone else with zero discussion with me or anyone in our division. Which isn't what were sold when we decided to join, were lead to believe that we would be in control of everything in the division but we just had to rep SF. When I questioned the leader, Lord Stryker, he tried to tell me that my cousin(he didn't know we were related though) was attempting to steal members from SF back to our SG and the death in the family was some kind of ruse to cover it up...Besides that being batshit crazy paranoia, it didn't even make sense, like he expected that we were going to brainwash or kidnap people I guess. I tried to explain that, no, it was an actual death in his family and he and I were related so I knew it wasn't a lie or anything. That was met with a kind of, "don't be so naive, stick with me kid!" type of response and then was dismissed like I was bothering him. So realizing just how nuts this guys was and confused as to how so many people would follow this delusional lying asshole... I kicked all the members we had brought to StrykeForce and explained to them in an email the series of events that took place and told them they can rejoin SF knowing what kind of assholes they are or rejoin our SG or do whatever they want, but I wasn't going help SF expand without them actually doing the work.

     

    The next day I received a lot of angry tells from the leaders of SF. They used to keep a "Blacklist" of globals on their front page of the guild site. I made the list.  ;D

     

     

     

     

  9. At this point, I think hearing someone say "Swipe left!" when fighting Tinder in DFB has reached dad-joke levels of groanworthy.

    I want them to add a secret badge for getting through a DFB without someone making a Tinder joke.

     

    I did about 12 yesterday over the course of the day on several toons... I'm pretty sure it's impossible, but more testing is needed. What I found funny is that whether it was left or right was not consistent. Some people like them horny.  ;D

  10. Wow, I recognize more than a few of these names. I was in HoJ so you might remember me if you ever teamed with them. Had a dozen Xionian *somethings* or so, though I was usualy on my Spines/Fire Tetraodon Ignis, towards the end at least.
