  1. Holding aggro on mobs beneath the cap is not even the discussion. But, like the others doing the gatekeeping, you do you. I am getting back to gaming.
  2. The aggro cap still seems to stand at 16 and the buffer that I mention still exists for a short period such that if you can move mobs off you, more that were aggro'd will come. So, it seems a bit murky what other changes have been made. But, arguing back and forth is pointless and you and others are determined to shoot down the idea instead of investigating how it could work so.... have at it.
  3. Possibly because the idea is being discounted out of hand rather than options offered for how it could be included. But you do you and, guess what, others can do what they want as well.
  4. Aggro limits were added in issue 5, not 4. Beyond that, we all are learning to let others enjoy the game as they wish. Perhaps allowing an increase in aggro limits in notoriety could be considered by the Homecoming team. If anyone does not want to partake, just as they would not join a "kill all" or "speed" team, they could be warned away from a "high aggro" team.
  5. It never occurred to me to even ask about this till now.... Since there is interest in revisiting certain matters in the game and making changes (changes to telekenesis on mind control), is there any interest in addressing the aggro limit and/or buffer that was added to the game? I would love to be able to pull like we used to. Perhaps, even make it optionable for the party leader to allow it?
  6. Congrats and Thank you!
  7. Thread derail lol. Mind control is a great power set for controlling. Of course, every set has its plusses and minuses. Every set. Back before pet control, I used to look on as fire guys went nuts with their imps. I kept playing my mind guy. It's each to their own. No one is more uber than anyone else as everyone can have the same build. At the end of all of this, the name of the game is being a good, fun teammate.
  8. Mind as a dominator is a truly insane powerset. With perma-dom and invis you can go undetected through entire maps mass mezzing and confusing everything without being detected. Mass Mezz and confuse generate no threat or do any damage so invis doesn't drop. Fairly, you don't generate mass xp or influence gains but you do get mission accomplishments and merits, etc.. for tf/sf/trial completions. When mass confuse is on CD, a ST confuse allows you to 1 shot control bosses and LTs and move on. I just have to be careful about AOEs. Confuse is also somehow more potent on AVs that other holds. In my playing time, Nemesis snipers, Rikti drones and Roman engineers are troublesome for detecting invisibility but I can mitigate even if it slows me down a lot. The only zone or enemy group that makes me play much more conventionally is the Rularuu.
